The war for Russia is going so well. Vladimir Putin has just cashiered eight generals. Just up and decided that their services were no longer needed. Maybe reassigned them to an onion farm in Siberia. I don’t know but I suspect that these were the same Generals who nodded approvingly when Vlad said, “This is gonna be easy.”
When Napoleon left out on his sojourn to Moscow, his Grand Army was 200,000 strong. But by the time he arrived, it was only half that size. By the time he tried to leave, his Army was starving. Cannons, equipment, and rifles just tossed away. Soldiers sitting down by the roadside and waiting for the enemy to either kill them or capture them. Army stragglers and supply columns spread out for miles along the road.
I’ve been astounded while studying the events of this war, versus the American media’s portrayal of the war. If you’re looking for fact and current events, steer clear of the American media. They talk, talk, talk but don’t really have all that much to say. We got 24 hrs. to fill here sweetie, so stretch it out. “And we’ll be right back after ten minutes of these important messages, about bladder control.”
The first Gulf War brought 24 Hr. News channels to prominence. But that’s old hat these days. You can watch You Tube or Tic Toc videos, less than an hour old. For the information you’ll never see on the networks. Stunning new twelve second videos of another Russian flying fireball, crashing to earth.
A viral video of Russian tanks being ambushed circulates. They show you the pictures, but don’t really want to explain to you why the video is important. It’s only important, because the Beaver Patrol of Boy Scout Troop 161 wouldn’t have walked into that ambush. Somebody is getting very angry.
Somebody is saying, “I don’t give a fuck about the losses. You get that Army moving or else!” But it doesn’t fit the media narrative of poor Ukraine, being crushed by the largest army in Europe. Heroic freedom fighters defending the Alamo, with only dirt clods and broken bottles.
There are at last count, around 70,000 shoulder fired missiles in Ukrainian hands. The largest army in Europe used the 4G cell tower for its encrypted communications, and then bombed said tower forcing them to use their own personal cell phones to communicate. Cell phones listened too and geo-located with precise coordinates. “Bang general, you’re dead!” But they don’t want to tell you that. Big guy pummels helpless little guy, details at eleven. “This isn’t Bruce Lee, its Peggy Lee!”
It is traditional for the underdog to make up all sorts of inflated casualty claims. But the Ukrainians have made a point of; “You hold the phone, and you fire the missile.” Photo and video evidence of over 1,000 destroyed Russian vehicles. Russian aircraft falling out of the sky, a daily treat.
Yesterday morning, I watched the Ukrainians shoot down four Russian attack helicopters out of the four attack helicopters the Russians sent. At fifteen million a copy, the Russians just lost $60 million in four minutes. I mumbled to myself, “Those losses are unsustainable for any air force in the world.”
Later in the day, another video of a full-scale Russian helicopter attack on a town. Effective anti-aircraft fire was going up, as the Russians attacked. The choppers fired off their chaff to confuse the missiles. But the missiles were going up in twos and threes. And if the first missile was defeated, the second one got them every time. One by one, the copters were swatted down from the sky like house flies. And as I watched I mumbled, That was almost $200 million in helicopters, wiped out in nine minutes. Mother of God, they are getting desperate!
Someone ordered them to attack pointlessly like that and said to the pilots. “I don’t give a fuck about the losses; the nation requires you service.” While it is easy enough to build more airplanes and helicopters, the pilots are irreplaceable. What is the effect on the Russian moral, when the attack helicopters go out, and none come back…all the time!
The video evidence shows the standard practice. The Freedom Fighters hit the lead vehicle in the convoy and then last vehicle. And then, all the Russian soldiers in between, get out and run away screaming in terror. Riding along in their tiny little iron boxes with almost no visibility or leadership whatsoever.
The Russian’s peep out the peep holes on the deserted road in the woods. But say, look at how much territory they’ve gained. Look everybody; Napoleon is winning! But despite all of NATO’s assistance, the Russian Federation is still Ukraine’s largest supplier of free military hardware.
“Say, wanna buy a Russian AK-47? Almost new, and only been dropped once! Ukrainian farmers haul away multi-million-dollar military equipment abandoned, and are promised that their windfall is tax free. General Sherman said, it’s about being the firstest, with the mostest.
But if there is no way to maneuver, and the roads are near impassable. The mostest are nothing but ripe fruit, to be plucked from a tree. The media shows huge swaths of territory taken by the Russians, but in most cases, those huge swaths the Russians control, are only the roads. And they must defend the roads from the roads. An unenviable military position, that few would you care to attempt.
Curiously, it took Vladimir Putin fifteen or sixteen days to decide that the war was actually being fought over Bio-labs. For months, Putin had insisted that Ukraine couldn’t join NATO or the European Union and now, just like that; Bio-labs.
Just like the damn QAnon conspiracy theory says. Always quick to be a Russian asset and useful idiot, Tucker Carlson amplifies their claim. But gee fellas, look at that. The Russian propaganda and QAnon propaganda are one and the same! Almost as if they were written in the same hand and coming from the same place! Duh, what? What’d he say, about QAnon Eustis?
It is becoming clearer by the day, that the Russian Army while large, has a limited supply of advanced equipment. Old T72 tanks have begun appearing in the convoys, smoking like tar kettles. Old diesel engines, with worn out injection pumps, and the old-style personnel carriers. They still have many vehicles, but they don’t have many of the good ones left. They’re bringing out the junkers to fill in the gaps.
The Russians are being pummeled by drone air strikes, because they’ve lost most of their own anti-aircraft capability. And the replacements will be the old stuff. Private civilian trucks and vans are being brought in from Russia. To replace the supply of military trucks, that the Russians no longer have.
By any metric you choose except, insane murderous cruelty, the Ukrainians are handing the Russians their ass on a platter. The Russians are losing the flower of their air force, and the flower of their army. And are left to a humiliating defeat, unless you’re watching the US media.
The Russians murder civilians because they are weak, not because they are strong. They have replaced a military stratagem with a murderous rage, motivated by and compounded by a military failure. I have found some conclusive video evidence for just how strong the Russian army really is.
