Will Donald Trump be arrested? Will the Reich wingers protest? Or will they not protest? Will it be a January 6th part two? It appears the Trump cult is doomed by their own paranoia. Initially, the former President and cult leader had called on his supporters to protest the cult leaders expected arrest. Then the paranoia began to take hold and the QAnon crowd began to fear it was all a trap being set by the evil Federal government.
A trap to lure Trump supporters out into the daylight so they might be arrested or worse. Their fears reenforced by years of conspiracy theories inhibit their ability to see the forest for the trees. It’s all a trap! The Federal government plan is to arrest Trump, but only to catch…them!
The invertebrate Kevin McCarthy rails against Trump’s prosecution promising pointless investigations into the prosecutors. But advises the Trump cultists not to protest leading to the suspicion that Kevin is sending a subliminal message to the Trump cult. Secretly warning them from the inside, that it’s all a trap.
First, the Trump cult is divided from the Republican Party and now divides again into pro protest and it’s a trap protest. This was entertaining, as the Young and not so Young Republicans protest in New York City outnumbered by reporters and photographers. How old can you be and still be a young Republican? Their spokesman looked to be in mid-thirties. I guess it’s all a matter of perspective as the average age of a Republican is over sixty years young.
Jimi Jordan declares it is a malicious prosecution over a book keeping error. $130,000 book keeping error to a porn star. Gee, if only Bernie Madoff had thought of that. Clearly, Jordan is firing blanks to distract the faithful from reality. Coolers heads inside the Republican Party remain silent less they be thought fools. They want Trump at least hobbled if not finished off as a candidate.
Republicans in the House are loud and boisterous in their support, Republicans in the Senate stone silent over Trump. But from the if I need your help, I’ll kick you in the ass and call your name files. Reich’s Fuhrer DeSantis calls a press conference. Because free publicity is after all free! DeSantis makes it clear from the outset that he knows little about the case but is certain Trump’s prosecution is wrong and unjust. Prompting Trump to respond, If I need any shit from you, I’ll squeeze your head!
Even Margie Greene advises the cultist not to protest because if it all goes South vocal Republicans could pay the price in November. You can be angry and stew in your own juices but keep it to yourself. Reports of increased threats from the Internet Cowboys are on the rise. Because they are just too dumb to understand how many of the Jan 6th insurrectionists were identified by statements made on the Internet. “Duh, they won’t catch us this time!”
Trump is swimming in the shark tank and the idea that he would call for his cultist to rise is a clear sign of his desperation. Because threatening the prosecution that always works. But coming soon, charges in Georgia. From a book keeping error to a simple misunderstanding. Trump is on tape asking for votes that clearly aren’t there. And implying no one would be any the wiser. The case against Trump in Georgia does make New York case look insignificant.
From satire to silliness. As Donald Trump blames the radical left for hacking his phone when his call was dropped to a Christian prayer group with Roger Stone and Mike Flynn. How dim would you have to be to actually believe that Roger Stone or Mike Flynn are Christians? Or Trump, the man about to be arrested for a payoff to a porn star is a Christian? Proof, there is no bottom to the well of gullibility.
It was just a few weeks ago; Trump had blamed the religious right for his election loss for not fighting for him hard enough. Of course, he didn’t mean those Christians on the prayer call but only those other Christians somewhere some place. It is either the funniest sad story ever was told or the saddest funny story.
The Republican Fun House Congress filled with stunts and acrobatics has all by themselves made their Party a farce. After fifteen votes, the Republicans couldn’t decide on a leader and so chose Kevin McCarthy as Speaker and stunt man until a leader comes along. McCarthy’s reign hangs by any one vote to remove him and so he dances like a marionette in the breeze. Failing to understand his power comes from no one else wanting the job or dumb enough to take it.
Anybody else out there want to lead the Light Brigade today? General Custer’s not feeling well, anybody want to lead a little patrol? Gee, what could possibly go wrong?
The Republicans are setting themselves up against the rule of law all to defend a man who couldn’t win an election running unopposed. The cultist afeared of a trap and a Republican Party afeared of the cult. Warning the cult not to protest lest the cult dooms their reelection chances. While at the same time afraid of the cult ruining their reelection chances if they don’t support the orange cult leader.
Fox News is Johnny on the spot with breaking news about Jesse Smollett. You remember him, don’t you? “They better not put my president in prison,” says Fox host Jesse Watters, as doing so would also mean “putting 74 million votes in prison.” Are you following along? “One Fuhrer, One People, One Reich!” Trump is America and America is Trump. The Fuhrer can do no wrong!
Fed on a steady diet of conspiracy theories and nonsense the paranoia overtakes them. Republican politicians warning the faithful not to protest while they protest for them, because It might be a trap! And is a trap, a Trump trap. The cult leader has duped the faithful yet again. And once again they fall for the scam hook line and sinker.
It won’t save Trump, and it won’t help the Republican Party standing against the rule of law. It will have the opposite effect of further dividing the Party. Under the simple and succinct principle of law that until the Manhattan prosecutor has captured and convicted every single law breaker in New York City. From murderers to shoplifters this must be a political prosecution.
“Gee, officer why are you giving me a ticket? Other people were speeding too. Oh, I get it! You just give Republicans speeding tickets. Why don’t you go after the real criminals like bank robbers, child molesters and murderers?”
