And so, it’s war yet again. Another Palestinian uprising for another generation of martyrs to fuel Allah’s insatiable fire. Another generation of bomber’s murderers and pointless victims. Killing old ladies at bus stops or murdering hostages just for the pure vengeance of it. Launching thousands of unguided rockets at cities, while claiming to be concerned with minimizing civilian casualties.
The ultimate victim who takes no notice of how he got in his situation. Before Israel was born the Palestinians were asked to negotiate and instead threatened war. At the birth of Israel, the Palestinians commenced to go to war, and they lost. In 1967, the Palestinians and Israel’s neighbors rose up in an unprovoked attack and they lost. In 1973, it was attempted once again, and they almost didn’t lose this time. But they did lose.
It’s not like Palestine was this previously free open range with no foreign government overlords or entanglements. It was under British control at the time. They divided the land as was their current legal right to do. I can’t say if that was correct or not, I wasn’t there. Colonies and protectorates, Kings and mandates are too long before my shift, they just are. What about Puerto Rico? Not a state but citizens, tax payers without a vote.
The world is, and we have to deal with the world as it is. No matter what the groovy black light poster said, few of us can actually change the world. The rules say if you lose a war, you don’t become wronged, you become defeated. If you refused to negotiate in the first place and started the war each time. You have little moral high ground to stand on.
The aide from the US, the UN and the European Union boggles the mind. Because no matter how much aid is sent, it never seems to reach the average Palestinian on the street. But suddenly multiple rocket launchers appear. Where did you find those? And was that purchase in the budget? That’s what a poor suffering people need, not clean water, doctors or a decent home, but rocket launchers.
Raised from cradle to grave believing your life’s purpose is to right the wrongs in a generational Don Quixote suicide pact. To become a martyr like your father before you and his father before him. Are the Israelis oppressors? You bet they are, most governments in the world are.
If the government says pack your bags, you’ve got to move, that’s pretty much the end of the discussion. We take our liberties for granted in the west. Look at Russia, China or Iran, Indonesia or a dozen other countries in the world and where is our outrage?
Selective amnesia and selective outrage. Allah gives you life to fight his petty battles over geography for him. My life would be a wonderful dream if it wasn’t for those guys oppressing me. There wouldn’t be some other oppressor or anything, I’d be free! Selling a fantasy and a bill of goods.
But facts are facts, who controls the Falkland Islands? Why? I’m not saying that it’s right, I’m saying it is.
Nearly seventy-five years in and the Israelis are stronger than ever, and the Palestinian cause is weaker. Maybe a change of strategy should be considered. Either that or this is just a scam of willing preprogrammed and propagandized youth. To fight in proxy wars for Allah’s cause and for people they never even heard of, in countries they don’t even know of.
If the Republican Congress projects weakness and appeasement, you’ll see more of this sort of thing all over the world. Coincidence? Do you really think so? Defund Ukraine at your own peril. Russia has few allies and none better than Iran and Iran is instrumental in supporting the Palestinian cause. Do you suppose there is no connection? The world is full of free-floating issues and totally unrelated causes?
Russia is flat on her back in Ukraine. Burning through her army and equipment, until she finds herself spread out along a long front. Russia has expended the offensive strength of her Army. The good stuff is all gone and they’re down to the rind. A video shows rusted mortar rounds and hollow artillery shells without explosives inside them at the front.
The Rouble is now worth less than a penny, the Russian Navy has evacuated Sevastopol. The Russian Army is evacuating dependents from Crimea and Tokmak. The Russian situation grows dire, and winter is coming and F-16s are coming as well.
A time for Russian desperate measures and a time for calling in all favors owed. First, the economy ruins the war and then, the war ruins the economy. If you lose the economy and lose the war, you also lose your job as the leader every time.
The Wagner uprising shows just how close to the edge Russia is becoming. Annexing Crimea started the war and now the Russians are pulling out. Accepting that Crimea cannot be held and accepting that the war is all but lost.
Now, now, with victory so close. The Republicans in Congress want to defund Ukraine. (Calling all favors!) “We get a lot of our money from Russia.” – Eric Trump. Offering up appeasement and peace in our time, once again for the sake of economy! “Maybe if we just leave Herr Putin alone, he’ll leave us alone.”
There is a single thread running through this. Donald Trump likes Jim Jordan for speaker of the House. Or in other words, Donald Trump would like to be the proxy speaker of the house. The Republicans in the house want appeasement for Russia and so does Donald Trump. The connection is unavoidable and can’t be ignored.
Matt Gaetz Trumpizoid deluxe, dethrones Kevin McCarthy for no good reason in particular. The former President encourages his proxy to run for speaker on the issue of defunding Ukraine. It could not be any clearer if Trump wore a red coat that said, RUSSIAN AGENT on the back of it in flashing neon. Trump is having money problems, and who could help him with that? Donald Trump has few friends who can help him. Friends who could restore his wealth and aid in his useful disappearance.
Putin also has few friends and a friend needing money who has the power to potentially defund your opponent is a friend indeed.
…[O]ur loyal, brave people… should know the truth. They should know that there has been gross neglect and deficiency in our defenses; they should know that we have sustained a defeat without a war, the consequences of which will travel far with us along our road; they should know that we have passed an awful milestone in our history, when the whole equilibrium of Europe has been deranged, and that the terrible words have for the time being been pronounced against the Western democracies:
Thou art weighed in the balance and found wanting.
And do not suppose that this is the end. This is only the beginning of the reckoning.
– Winston Churchill, October 5th, 1938
