The Republican fear and panic is palpable and really can make you wonder. Will Donald Trump sweep the checkers onto the floor and flip over the checker board? Demanding the game is fixed against him. Donald is already claiming the polls showing him behind are all fixed against him. The crowds around Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are all AI generated. Then Donald begins attacking his largest donors as RINOS.

For many years Donald Trump has been known as a petulant man-child with a short attention span and a bad temper. Is Donald’s recent behavior something new or just more of the same? This time around is for all the marbles. If Donald Trump loses this election not only is his political life over, but his private life as well. If Trump loses this election, he becomes an aging drying turd baking in the hot Florida sun. Becoming the old man responsible for this disaster and left without any friends.

A man with zero influence and zero attention. If Trump loses this election, he becomes the man who destroyed the Republican Party. The man who lost the House and the Senate and the Presidency twice! The man who solely and surely destroyed the traditional Republican Party. I don’t know for sure, but I don’t think Major Tom’s spaceship knows which way to go.

It is all going wrong. J.D. Vance is a catastrophe that keeps on giving. The most anti-women politics since the Salem witch trials. J. D. said he wanted to ban interstate travel for pregnant women. Lest they slip the net and go to the free states to have an abortion. Maybe we could take their shoes away? Obviously, there was no vetting. Trump and Trump alone made this choice based on whatever Donald was thinking about at that particular moment.

J.D.s poll numbers put his popularity at a negative six with women, while Donald is at a negative ten. Only the choice of Ted Nugent or Kid Rock for VP could have been more disastrous. But with every narcissist when things go right it is all their doing. But when things go wrong, somebodies fucking up. Donald is lashing out at everyone in a panic. He is making things up and telling lies at an accelerated rate.

Fantastical and obvious lies.

Donald has resurrected the idea of an imaginary debate on Fox News and Entertainment. Only, no one else has agreed to it. I’m not even sure if Fox is aware of it. Donald wants a debate just the way he wants it. On September 4^th on Fox with an audience, just the way he wants it. It all begins to look a bit delusional. Trump was advised of the low polling numbers and insisted it wasn’t him dragging down the ticket. It was all J.D.s fault. Sound familiar?

I had suggested a call to Mike Pence for the straight dope on being Donald Trump’s running mate before J.D.s acceptance, but would he listen? Ninety days out and Trump’s already throwing J.D. under the bus. I bet you are surprised by that, aren’t you?

Trump wants a Fox debate because Trump believes in what passes for his mind. That he alone can save the day. “All I need is an hour on Fox, see? I can win them all back! They still love me! THEY STILL LOVE ME! I know they do!” But the question resurfaces, is this more of the same or is Donald starting to lose his grip permanently? There are whispers in the chapel among the faithful.

Why isn’t Donald campaigning more? Why does he continue to allow J.D. to speak on the campaign trail? Is he building a case for a failed campaign? I would have won if it hadn’t been for that damn J.D.! Is Donald Trump freezing up like Windows 97? Fearing and scripting his loss through the perceived fault of others. I would have won that election for sure, but for all those RINOs and that stupid J.D.!

Time is not on Trump’s side; he is the aging symbol of a Republican Fuhrer too old to act tough anymore. Running on “Remember last time? Wasn’t that great? It can be 2016 again!” There is a time for every season and maybe Fox will play along! And maybe all the RINOS will all shut up and just give me their money!

It was only last week, when Donald publicly prophesied that Joe Biden would take back his candidacy from Kamala Harris. And then, Donald would thrash Joe Biden again. That’s what we call magic thinking. Maybe something fantastic will happen and turn this all around. Maybe J.D. will get laryngitis and be unable to speak. Maybe Kamala will slip on a banana peel or Jesus will return.

It’s all about enthusiasm and campaigning once or twice a week won’t ever cut it. It feeds the narrative of Donald being too old. Trump’s anger and invective is subconsciously signaling to the prawns and penny stinkers he’s giving up. He’s declaring he’s been robbed before the first vote has been cast. Trump is looking to place the blame before the game.

But there are some worrisome signs. In the wake of the most disastrous press conference of his career. Donald can’t wait to get out there and try it again! Trying to prove he’s still got it when that question becomes more viable by the hour. The Old Man and The Sea who thinks he can still land that big fish. And if he can’t, it’s probably all J.D.s fault or those damn RINOs!

Donald Trump is attempting to build a firewall from failure. Reverting and inverting to living in magic land. “I’m ready for my close-up now, Mr. Deville.”
