It is a sign of the times and a poor example for our children, but it is also a ball rolling off the table. A sign of the end coming. Quiet! The maestro is decomposing. Things for Donald are so bad, there is little possibility of getting any worse. Panic is the uniform of the day and fear is the magic word.
How bad is worse than bad? It is an interesting and insightful tale of woe. The Trump team used intimidation to goose step their way into Arlington National Cemetery. No law against a former President visiting a National Cemetery. No law against filming except in certain areas, like headstones in the cemetery itself.
So, the Trump team drives up and waves at the gate house as they pass. They began to set up for a photo shoot in a restricted area and when Cemetery officials complained, they were met with brute force and verbal abuse. We don’t care what your fucking rules say, get out my way. All to use the deaths of 13 service people in Afghanistan to make a political attack ad.
To me, that’s the real crime. Somebody thought this up and thought; here’s a real good idea of something we could do! We could go to a National Cemetery and film in front of graves to paint the Democrats as “weak” on national defense. This idea should have been shot down before they ever got the limo out.
Gee, I wonder who thought this up? And maybe, I ask why the idea wasn’t shot down only rhetorically. This has got the big orange ape’s greasy fingerprints all over it. The lack of empathy and understanding and simple respect for the dead. Especially the military dead. A case of stolen valor on steroids. I’ll use their deaths and graves as a prop to lean my campaign against.
I’ll use their deaths in Afghanistan to paint Joe Biden as weak. “Ta da!” Do you also have a problem with letting go? Call our helpline at 1- 800 ded duck. I would bet the house on this being all Donald’s idea. Or maybe, by using the memory of a three-year-old terror attack. They thought they could somehow tie it to the current Vice President’s responsibilities.
Donald’s campaign team must be shitting themselves. In my mind’s eye, I can see them all sitting around a desk, faces haggard. Their ties loosened and what’s left of a bottle of whiskey on the desk without any glasses. At the far end of the room, a TV monitor is set on repeat. Replaying Trump’s visit. Donald bursts into the room, “Well, what do you say now fellas? Pretty good huh? Huh? And you guys said it was a BAD idea!
There was plenty of stock footage available to use. No reason to make a special trip. But now, it has turned into another exploding cigar for team Trump. Just the worst gaffe of the day but it’s still early. J.D. Vance (Circa 1955) says Childless people “disorient and disturb him.” But as the old saying goes, people living in glass mental institutions shouldn’t throw around words like “disturbed.”
You can see the picture forming itself. North Carolina was shifted from the lean’s right column to a “toss up.” That paints a bleak picture for team Trump. Only in a fantasy, could Donald Trump win the White House without North Carolina. And if North Carolina won’t hold what of Virginia? Donald Trump needs all of the toss up states to fall his way for any hope at all. And Mr. Trump keeps making new toss up states nearly every single day.
Listen! Do you hear it? The sounds of silence as the Republicans have stopped trying to defend Donald Trump. They rightly assume it’s time to scuddle away quietly. You don’t want your name used in connection with his in the headlines. Because it could come back to bite you on the ass. It’s the look on the coyote’s face when he realizes he’s been outsmarted again.
It isn’t just Donald’s future at stake here. J.D. Hay seed is headed for the proverbial scrap heap. He had his chance, and he blew it. Who knows, maybe some other Presidential candidate will also choose him for VP someday. Maybe someday when Republicans run and pigs fly.
The whole Republican structure is in peril. Donald Trump is giving Americans a dozen reasons to stay home on election day. Proof positive, shit runs downhill! Wiped out by a demoralized Republican electorate who no longer see a point in supporting Donald Trump.
There is an incumbent Republican Congressman here in Arizona. And in his advertising, they never onced use the word “Republican” He’s bipartisan and works across the aisle. He’s a consensus builder! During the primary season the Trump campaign sent out a notice. If you use Donald Trump’s image in your campaign advertising. We want a percentage to wet our beak. I wonder how that plan is going about now?
Donald Trump faces a revised indictment in the stolen documents case and immediately loses his mind. Meanwhile, Kamala Harris explains her plans to tackle the housing crisis. You know, GOOD inflation. Everybody hates that inflation unless it substantially raises the value of their house. But it is a political truism and a case of “When they go crazy, we go sane!”
Another Republican day and another cringe worthy Republican fiasco. The possibilities are promising for a new blue day. Trumpers aren’t really issue based voters per say. They won’t change their minds because they disagree with a tariff schedule. But if they are growing weary of Donald Trump and sense hopelessness for his cause, they will abandon him and toss him like spoiled milk. Nobody loves you when you’re down and out.
“I did not attend his funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it.”
