You’re going to laugh when I tell you this. Even in the midst of a Fascist takeover nightmare it’s still important to smile. Tesla stock has lost 50% of its value and is headed for the waste bin of history. Americans by the thousands are protesting in the streets. Republican politicians are in literal hiding, and the office door is always kept locked. Now here’s the punch line, 54% of Americans disapprove of Trump’s actions.
Good god at 64% disapproval they would burn down the Capital. But the media expects the public to eat that imaginary number up with a spoon. We are in the middle of a full-throated Constitutional crisis, and the media would like you to believe only 54% of Americans are worried about their grandmothers or their sick relatives. They aren’t worried about their underfunded public schools teaching directly from the bible or shutting down entirely. Just a few hot heads really and 46% approve of the dismantling of the American government.
If you had a time machine and went a year into the future, what would you likely see? A year to turn rhetoric into unemployment numbers. A year to watch positions harden. A year to begin the executions by denial of care. A year to fill the streets with a new class of homeless. A year to watch property values crumble and a year for Wall Street to choke on its own greed.
Chuck Schumer was pilloried by his own party for supporting the King’s draconian budget bill. But the logic behind Schumer’s position is very insightful. You see; If we allow the King to shut down the government. He will behave even worse! So, for that reason, we must do what he wants without any objections. Just knuckle under and play doormat. That way the King won’t act “EVEN WORSE!”
How the fuck are you going to act even worse? A King who disregards court orders to a Gestapo breaking and entering into private property. Worse? What is this worse of which you speak? Canadian officials are in Europe to discuss what to do about their America problem. Worse? NATO is evaporating before our eyes. Millions and millions of Americans are at risk but only 54% are worried about it?
It is just as Mark Twain predicted. The field of professional lying is overrun by rank amateurs. Even Winston Smith had some standards, he wouldn’t forecast a tripling of the chocolate ration. 100% of Americans are interested in Social Security. No, only 54% See? Now that’s funny.
The King’s phony peace negotiations where Ukraine gets told to take it or leave it and Russia is told we can talk about it. Ukraine moves closer to Europe and Europe moves away from the United States. The permanent break with Europe is coming if it hasn’t occurred already. After the King has alienated our allies and isolated American business from foreign markets. Why would the dollar remain the world’s reserve currency? Why would anyone want to invest in America now?
I’m sure you’ve heard about this story not. It’s not been covered much, and I’m sure it is just an oversight on the media’s part. But among the government agencies no longer operating is FEMA. Flood victims in West Virginia’s worst floods in a generation and when they called for help got. The number you have reached is no longer in service. The Republican Gauleiter of West Virginia says, “Everything is great! Couldn’t be better! Every need is being met!” The Governor hasn’t visited the devastation himself but has read the reports from some of his most trusted advisors of success and happiness.
Among half a dozen states across the Southeast suffered loss, death and destruction from storms and tornadoes. And their government has nothing for them, not even pity. Let’s poll that area and see how it stands up to our 54% number. But oh, no! It doesn’t work that way! Those to be polled are vetted by Republican zip codes. We polled 900 carefully chosen people at some of the most expensive and exclusive clubs in America. Only 54% disapproved of the destruction of the lives and property of the little people.
But it is important for the big money media to keep the King happy. You must never say the King lost. You must always say the King didn’t win. Then point out why it probably wasn’t fair the King lost.
The King demands the impeachment of Judges who dare to disagree with the King. Rubber stamp Republicans in Congress have already brought forth two impeachment petitions against disloyal judges. So, the Cheap Justice steps in to tell the King to knock it off. Will the King now back off? Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! What a dimwit! What a maroon! The Cheap Justice honestly believes at this point in the Fascist nightmare the King can be scolded into obedience. What makes him think the King won’t do it again or worse? What’s the Cheap Justice going to do about it? Can you believe it? A supposed brilliant man with a blue-ribbon legal education and high position duped like a school boy at the county fair.
But maybe if we do what the King wants without objection, he will treat us better and not act even worse.
Set the time machine for two years and what will you see, fair elections? Do you honestly believe Republicans are planning for fair elections? When the heart of law enforcement has been either cut out or corrupted. Who will guarantee honest elections? Not the government! Thank goodness we can always trust our fair and unbiased media.
“Now I will tell you the answer to my question. It is this. The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from the oligarchies of the past in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just around the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now you begin to understand me.”
