Sometimes I just get goddamn angry. I know you do too. I don’t feel like I’m asking too much of our broadcast media to try and maintain the same journalistic standards as you might find in a high school newspaper. NBC (Non-Believable Content) did a story about the public anger at a town hall in Laramie, Wyoming. This ruby red district was letting a clueless pandering and pretending Congress critter have it with both barrels.

Obviously, this is the story of the day. We the people is really, really pissed off! I haven’t seen this kind of public anger since the Vietnam War. But suddenly, in the middle of a story about public anger at the coup de ’tat in Washington. This slime ball announces, You know, Laramie, Wyoming, is where Mathew Shepard was murdered twenty-five years ago. So what? Superman lived in New York. What does one thing have to do with the other?

How could you butcher a lead story about rising public anger with a wedge issue? It’s not about public anger at all, remember Mathew Shepard! You see, if you dilute or blunt the focus of the story enough it almost goes away. How could they do that? It isn’t media attempt to inform but a media attempt to deform public opinion.

In a similar vein to the Columbia University Grad student arrested for headlines. It’s not about Hamas or Palestine or race or religion. It’s about free speech and not living in a POLICE STATE where you can be arrested for saying the wrong thing. When you show up with your Palestinian flag. THAT is all the media will focus on. Not on free speech or freedom of assembly. HAMAS supporter! Palestinian = terrorist. Scare the shit out of middle America and paint and jaundice the protest from head to toe.

I found this story cute. Rising anger at Republican town halls is now spilling over among Democratic town halls. YOU SEE? No examples given, but they’re just the same! Democrats take an angry question or two, while Republicans face an angry mob. And the more the Republican tries the ole, this is all Joe Biden’s fault trope the angrier the mob gets. See? Voters are mad at both sides. It’s not just the Republicans.

The Republican Party line is to play dumb or downplay the people’s anger. Meanwhile, full speed ahead! Clueless, like deer in the headlines frightened. These are safe Republican districts which are ill equipped to take actual tough questions. One quarter of all Wyoming farmers depend on the Department of Agriculture programs to survive, and you think we should just do away with them?

Federal State Persecutor Pam Bondo says she’s going to put the Tesla arsonists under the jail! She knows! She knows it’s not a property crime at all. It is a political crime, the burning of Elon and his ideas in effigy. It is a public crime against the state! Because the highest law oppressor in the land always gets involved in local vandalism cases. As soon as Bondo said that I thought to myself. That might just encourage copy cats if they know it is really getting under their skin. Take a look, Google Tesla Fire and see for yourself. Do these people have fire insurance?

There is a full court press underway to divide and conquer. To deflect and tell partial stories without focusing on the big picture. The issue today is saving our country for everyone, straight or gay, black or white Christian Muslim or Jew.  If you think the arrest of Mahmood Khalil has anything to do with Palestine, you’ve missed the point and are playing right into their hands.

I don’t know if you’ve ever been to a demonstration where the media is present. Five thousand normal people show up. One or two show up wearing a space suit or some weird getup and that is who will be on the news tonight. I was in a march in Portland once and the police charged a peaceful crowd right in front of the newspaper office. Damn convenient that! The newspaper reporters didn’t have to leave the office to get their story. They arrested three and they were released down at the station, but they got the photo! Police calm unruly downtown mob!

The media’s goal is to lie to you. Winston Smith is a professional. To make the issue about anything except what the issue is actually about. It’s about the Middle East or Gay rights or Israel. Perfect! Instantly turn off half the audience! It’s almost so cynically sinister and diabolical as to be intentional. The only issue today is stopping the deconstruction of American Democracy. Nothing else! Nothing! Not Party or preference. Not race or religion or sexual preference or prayer in school. You are either for that or against that. Without resistance you won’t have anything anyway. Yeah sure, removing Jackie Robinson and the Tuskegee Airman was just an accident. (whoops, what were we thinking?)

There is a rising public anger in this country unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Wait until the weather warms. Wait until the budget cuts begin to take hold. Wait until the hospitals begin to close. Wait until the farmers start going broke. The King’s Administration doing away with Social Security phone identification is an affront to every senior citizen in the country, but that’s not the point. Police State Yes/No?
