The Dictator of El Salvador met today with the Dictator dickhead in the White House. To discuss everyday fascism and the FIVE! Count em! Five new Concentration Camps the King wants to hold American citizens who have somehow gone astray and offended the King. It is an announcement of a full Dictatorship. The King is telling the Supreme Court. To Piss off! I’ll do whatever I want, and you can’t/won’t stop me. Constitutional crisis we have arrived! “That’s one small step for Fascism but one giant creep for Mankind.”
Not surprisingly, the big media deflect from telling the true story. Two world leaders meet. How about that? But the King was asked if they were going to seek the person wrongly deported’s return? You’re damn right the King passed his physical. Did you see how the King deftly redirected that highly incriminating question? That speaks to his criminal history, sharp as a tack. Why, if the King had said “no!” Why, that’s in direct opposition to an order of the Supreme Court. But the King wisely said, “You tell em!”
But the answer was the same regardless of the origin. So, what happens now? In any kind of real world, the members of Congress are burning up the phone lines to the palace promising the fastest impeachment and trial in American history. But obviously, this Congress is mired in an end of day’s philosophy. They figure; why fight the overwhelming tide when there is so much money to be made? If you must witness the end of the world, do it rich. Dictatorship and insider trading go together like peas and carrots. You play ball and it could be a surprise Christmas. You give me shit and it could be El Salvador.
It is entirely possible Wall Street has missed the King’s comments about Fascism today and the end of the rule of law in the United States. And his decree of his personal prerogative. I would think if I were rich, with a fortune to rest my head upon and sleep well upon. I would take a much deeper notice of the end of the rule of law. I sit here spitting out this nonsense all the days of the week. But they probably won’t bother with arresting me. I’m not worth their trouble. But now the Chairman of Microsoft? Or the heads of billion dollar hedge funds? The Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission or a reporter for the Associated Press? Boys, better get your passports in order!
The King’s executive orders means that the King actually runs the stock market from a distance now. Maybe it ought to be a law you can’t leave the country with all that nice money. Maybe one more down stock report and we’ll investigate you for supporting terrorism, chewing gum in class or spitting on the sidewalk. The powers of immediate deportation into a black bottomless gow forever is an exquisite tool of coercion. The temptation grows to use it more and more. And to use it more aggressively. A simple one stop solution to how do you solve a problem?
I’ve read recently, Haitian’s have been beleaguering Canadian officials at the border seeking asylum. Claiming their deportation could end them up in a Salvadoran prison forever. That really bothered me. That was my idea too. But I doubt they will deport me, but if I worked at CNN or maybe ran the news department at CBS, it could be a different story. It’s naivety! That’s what it is. Go ahead, write another negative story about the Cyber Dumpster. Go ahead.
The same people who slept through history class and skimmed through 1984 thinking it was fun read. Oh no, it’s not me they’re after friend, it’s you! I can’t hurt them any but maybe you can. Maybe they will make sure you can’t hurt them. Maybe the King will issue an executive oder declaring you permanently unemployable. A pox upon anyone who mentions your name.
Soon maybe, the King sees a news story he doesn’t like. Get em on the plane! Get his boss up here. Now!
And yet, the Wall Street crowd goes to work and clocks in like everything is alright. Pretending, oh pretending that it hasn’t all changed overnight. Sure, the court system has gone bluey and is busted beyond all human belief, but all of our transactions are still honest an above board. Nobody is gaming the system here! It’s all still honest and clean. But if it is all still honest? For how long?
How long before the golden calf catches a gleam in the King’s eye? And the King becomes desirous of taking over Wall Street the same way he took of the Kennedy Center. You are no longer safe here. But worse still, is your money is not safe here either. You are trusting your life and your lush prosperity on the integrity of a mad King. Under the King’s executive order, maybe you can’t sell those stocks or treasury bills until the King says you can. And maybe he decides to suspend paying interest, due to the current economic emergency he just declared. What do you mean, he can’t do that?
Will the King tomorrow say or do something egregious again and send the markets spiraling towards the gates of hell? Only then the mad King goes on social media to say (Wink, wink) Now is a good time to buy! Only kidding about the Tariffs! For a little while. Until my friends all get their pockets full of gold. Then maybe, I’ll issue more some more Tariffs tomorrow! Who knows? The sun is henceforth by executive order required to stay up in the sky until the King finishes the 18th hole.
It should be apparent even to only marginally sane. We are in the midst of a Constitutional and mental health emergency. This is all doomed to end badly, both economically and politically. The robots have broken loose in Westworld. All of Westworld. Not just for a few, but for everyone. If your name has a vowel in it, you are included. But the most important point for you to suwanee on. Is the more money you have here. The bigger the target you become. Maybe soon some bright boy at ICE comes up with a sweet extortion scheme. $50,000 or $100,000 or you’re going on the plane. How would anyone ever know? We all look the same with our heads shaved.
“Still another danger is represented by those who, paying lip service to democracy and the common welfare, in their insatiable greed for money and the power which money gives, do not hesitate surreptitiously to evade the laws designed to safeguard the public from monopolistic extortion.
Their final objective toward which all their deceit is directed is to capture political power so that, using the power of the state and the power of the market simultaneously, they may keep the common man in eternal subjection.
They claim to be super-patriots, but they would destroy every liberty guaranteed by the Constitution.
They are patriotic in time of war because it is to their interest to be so, but in time of peace they follow power and the dollar wherever they may lead.” ― Henry Wallace
