It’s All Downhill From Here

By David Glenn Cox

What an accomplishment! Kudos! Kudos! The King yesterday announced his Administration had completed trade agreements with 200 countries. Not including China, Western Europe, Taiwan, Japan or Korea. Someone call the United Nations. It appears their roles are inaccurate and incomplete as the UN says there are only 193 countries in the entire world, Including China, Western Europe, Taiwan, Japan and Korea.

Fredonia, OZ and Never, Never land perhaps? It’s just not going well. They were under the assumption that all they had to do was to crack the whip and everyone would just fall into line. The King says, “China has to give us something.” The one finger salute perhaps.

It’s not about China at all, much in the same way it isn’t about illegal immigration. The King appeals to racism to appease the simpletons, while he robs them blind. China is a thorn in the side of the Western World. Created by Richard Nixon as the best way to counter the Soviet Union. Now, the Chinese have become rich and bellicose. Claiming territories and building concrete Islands in the South China Sea. It isn’t about the territory at all. It’s all about fishing rights on a polluted and dying world.

The King’s plan is to take China down a peg and show them who is boss. Let them know the King’s commands of what will be. But the King almost on cue backs down again. Marko Polio, the little man in the big job says, The US opposes Israel’s desire for WAR with Iran. Israeli’s desire? You could have fooled me. Just two weeks ago, the US was flying drones into Iran and threatening their imminent destruction on an almost daily basis.

But the King has had an epiphany even though he doesn’t know what that is. The new polls are out! The real ones, not the ones they show on TV. On trade, BAD! On the economy, real BAD. On immigration worse. Immigration was supposed to be the sugar to help the medicine go down. The candy for the mud heads to suck on. And now, it’s all gone wrong. Maybe now is not the right time to correct the Iranians, after all.

About a month ago, the King and the Defense Department declared victory over the Houthis in Yemen. This is an issue which has plagued warfare for over eighty years. The belief if you drop enough bombs on somebody, they will give up eventually. The US has hit the Houthis with over a thousand airstrikes, and they still keep shooting down our thirty million dollar drones, attacking our ships and sending drones and missiles towards Israel. Dropping quarter million dollars bombs on people in mud huts. You guys had enough?

Obviously, if they can’t eliminate the Houthis. Iran is clearly off the table. Their bombing strategy has failed, and they are just wasting ammunition now. The only answer is a more direct approach. The 82nd Airborne in the skies and Marines on the beaches. But, but, but that’s scary! Let’s just do it the chicken shit way and drop bombs till they quit. It worked in Vietnam, didn’t it? The difference between planning and just doing what’s easy.

But it’s all going wrong. The trade negotiations are going poorly. The domestic economy is headed off a cliff. When the death of a Pope is a bright spot in your foreign policy. It’s not going well. The King vacillates as usual. Explaining he’s not going to throw foreign college students out the country any more. And he thinks it’s time to bring Mr. Garcia home from El Salvador. What? Why, just last week the King said, it was never going to happen. I know it’s not going well; Pete Hegseth told me so.

From Craigslist, Needed Immediately: Defense Secretary must be able to shut his yap. But 86 proof Pete symbolizes the Administration of constant failures. If they fire Pete, it is admitting that they made a mistake. And they don’t like to admit to making mistakes.

The whole plan was a blitz. Kick down the doors, fire and threaten everyone. Arrest migrants, threaten universities. Kick our allies in the nuts until they do what we want. The problem with a blitz is if it doesn’t work, there is no plan B. No reserves to call on.

The King comes right out and declares Crimea will stay Russian. At almost the exact same instant in Moscow, a top Russian major General’s car exploded. Another car was blown up two weeks ago. Clearly, it’s the last stage of a dying regime. When they start killing each other, the end is in sight. And as usual, the King is on the wrong side. He will stand in direct opposition to our NATO allies trying to defend a crumbling authoritarian regime, which will die on its own with or without him.

These are checker players and not chess players. Chess players would be worried about a Post Putin Russia and its impending economic collapse. World War One ended when Hindenburg went to the Kaiser and told him the German army would collapse within two weeks. Out of food and out of ammunition with riots in the streets. Russia is out of tanks and trucks, low on ammunition and attacking on electric scooters and hauling supplies with donkeys. The end is nie!

But the Blitz has failed and now they must face an angry electorate. If the Democrats gain control of Congress in two years, it will get ugly. People are going to prison! That was a part of the blitz doing illegal things. If you succeed everything is Jake, but if you don’t succeed? The King is only digging the hole deeper now. It’s over, understand? It’s has all gone wrong. And now, it’s all downhill from here.
