Alone Again, Naturally

By David Glenn Cox

“Hello, is there anybody out there? Just nod if you can hear me, is there anyone at home?” What am I doing wrong? Is it my breath? A year or so ago, This Carbon-Based Life enjoyed a wide readership then suddenly, the readership fell radically. Almost like someone had flipped a switch. But amid this decline one tid bit stands out. Readership overseas in Europe and Australia, remains constant and even shows a slight growth.

Hmmm, just Americans no longer enjoy, This Carbon-Based Life. Peculiar, don’t you think? If this were China, Iran or North Korea, what would you suspect the cause to be? But this is the United States, we would never allow media censorship, would we? But I don’t want to sound paranoid, but there must be a mechanical reason. How else can you explain it?

The broader corporate media have largely been emasculated. Example: “Trump and Newsom Exchange Barbs.” Well sure, that’s fair. In much the same way Hitler and Roosevelt once exchanged barbs. A trivializing of radical news. The Great Dictator Trump usurps the powers of the state of California. The Great Dictator installed troops and National Guardsmen unasked over the wishes of state and local government . An event which has never happened in this country in over a century. Trump is usurping his powers; Newsom is defending his powers. But the media report it on equal terms, Trump and Newsom exchange barbs.  Nazi Germany and Poland discuss border issues!

Hitler was a radical dictator and Roosevelt was a President defending democracy. They didn’t exchange barbs, because they were not on the same moral plane. Consider Jesus exchanging barbs with Satan! Should equal weight be given to both positions?

Also, not in the news; new jobs numbers in May. New jobs 139,000. Number of Americans employed, down by 697,000. Throughout all American Administrations, the months of April, May and June, are always pointed to as vouchsafed proof. The Administration’s economic policies are correct. They all take credit for Spring. Grass now needs cutting; fences now need painting, and swimming pools now need lifeguarding. So, the number of 139,000 new jobs in May is just plain awful. Unemployment was UP by 71,000 when historically, it should be down.

In Phoenix, Arizona,  home prices are no longer rising. The number of homes for sale on the market has doubled in twelve months. The number of homes sales have fallen drastically and time on the market has also doubled. The Great Dictator sends out his frozen Gestapo to raid a meat packing house in Nebraska. They arrested 96 workers and the meat packing house had to shut down. In California, the ICE Gestapo agents were seen chasing farm workers through fields. Expect retail meat prices to rise while meat prices on a wholesale level will fall. Less workers, less need to purchase cows or pigs. Less need for truckers to haul their products. [Farmers for Trump!]

The Great Dictator announces a great Trade Deal has been reached with China. But not really. This is what the paid media report. But the truth of the matter is a framework for a trade deal has been agreed to. It still needs to be hammered out by the dictators of both countries. So, there has not been a trade deal agreed to. An agreement to make an agreement has been arranged. And if it all falls apart tomorrow, the paid media have done their job. Winston Smith reports, “Good News everybody!”

Ernst Rohm, AKA Elon Musk is falling all over himself blubbering apologies towards the Great Dictator. I wonder why? Probably just a soulful reflection and prayerful meditation. Sure, that’s it! No need to quietly call and apologize for your awful remarks about the Great Dictator’s penchant for hanging with his pedophile friends. No need to apologize personally over the phone. Put it all over social media! “I’m Sorry! I’m sorry! I’m so sorry! It will never happen again, I promise.”

What do you suppose brought about this rich prick’s change of heart? And I’m sure Elon’s supplication will be accepted with all of the grace and magnanimity forgiveness allowed by the Great Dictator. Rand Paul complains about White House childishness. After Mr. Paul’s invitation to a White House picnic was rescinded. And he’s surprised? You speak against the Great Dictator and bad things can happen to you! Like the ABC reporter, who was fired for speaking his mind against the Great Dictator on his own personal Social Media account.

Whitehouse propagandist Karoline Leavitt to beaver AKA Acid Barbie, stormed out of her own press conference after being questioned about “Free Speech.” You just can’t make this stuff up! The Great Dictator warns,  if you come to his birthday parade just to protest. You’re going to get it. You’ll be sorry! The Great Dictator is publicly threatening the American people. Washington Politicos are getting out of town as fast as their chubby little legs can carry them. Nobody but nobody in Washington, plans to attend the Great Dictator’s vanity parade. The Great Dictator’s popularity is falling. And the threat of fiasco is soaring! Who remembers the last time the Great Dictator planned an outdoor gathering in Washington?

Once the economic chickens begin to come home to roost. The Great Dictator’s popularity should be expected to fall even further. The media reports the details of the Great Dictator’s big, beautiful murder bill are still being hammered out in the Senate. But don’t worry, they add. No tax on tips is still there! Also, still in there but unreported are the plans to strip twelve million Americans from their healthcare potentially murdering them. The morale of the Marines and National Guardsmen called up to defend California from its own government is said to be, “Not Good.” I wonder why? Morale among Americans in general could also be described as,  “Not Good.”

As the Great Dictator he expresses, so the economy he depresses.

Monsters are variations from the accepted normal to a greater or a less degree. As a child may be born without an arm, so one may be born without kindness or the potential of conscience. A man who loses his arms in an accident has a great struggle to adjust himself to the lack, but one born without arms suffers only from people who find him strange. Having never had arms, he cannot miss them. To a monster the norm must seem monstrous, since everyone is normal to himself. To the inner monster it must be even more obscure, since he has no visible thing to compare with others. To a criminal, honesty is foolish. You must not forget that a monster is only a variation, and that to a monster the norm is monstrous.”  ― John Steinbeck
