The late Prince Phillip always used to worry his son Prince Andrew would end up as no good. He was right to worry. Not since Edward VIII has there been such a royal scandal. Good King Charles, a man who endured 48 hours with Donald Trump for the sake of his nation. His mother, the late Queen Elizabeth, only had to worry about Nazis dropping bombs on them. Charles had to live with one! And yesterday, he punted Andy out of the Royal family like a football and stripped him of all his royal titles. (I know, he gave them up voluntarily, but no he didn’t) But on this side of the pond, it means something entirely different.
It means the first domino has fallen. It means the days of calling Epstein a hoax are all over. You don’t get bounced out of the royal family over a hoax. It means that the chips are falling and the chickens are coming home to roost. It means the Epstein scandal won’t ever be going away. It means the clock is ticking and zero hour is coming. It means for Donald Trump; the end is nie!
The Junta is cracking up. Round and round she goes where she stops, God only knows. Karoline Leavitt to beaver was near hysterical yesterday calling Democrats terrorists and illegal aliens. Where, oh where, do you suppose this unhinged rant came from? Aww, was somebody getting chewed out by their boss? I think so. It’s all beginning to fracture and fall apart.
In the wake of the Young Republican (I love Hitler) texting scandal. The Governor of New York condemned them. The Chairman of the Party disbanded them. With, of course, the caveat they will take them all back once the heat is off. But as Henry David Thoreau once said, “If a man does not march in step with his companions, perhaps it is because he’s a little dimwitted and doesn’t pay close attention.” Everyone condemned the texts except for Shady JD Vance, who defended them.
Pretending it was just little boys left unsupervised. But the Young Republicans are a group for people under 40. The orange dictator asks, “Are the farmers angry yet? Let’s go ahead and double that currency swap with Argentina and make it 40 billion dollars! We take in their worthless currency and exchange it with our currency! It almost makes Shady JD look intelligent. The epitome of tone deaf!
There is a sudden shortage of farm commodity storage as farmers hope for a fairy godmother or the Good Witch of the North coming to rescue them. Maybe, if we can just hang on, maybe the prices will rise during the winter? Wishful thinking! Fantasy thinking! Magical thinking!
But the farmers are actually sitting pretty when compared to the banks. The Big banks borrow money from the Federal Reserve at the prime rate 7.25%. They lend out to other banks at 9% The other banks fund businesses like used car lots at 12 or 14% and credit card companies at 29%. These banks authorized making used car loans at 150% of the asset value.
They take a $10,000 car and mark it up to $15,000 and then finance it at 14% interest. Now as the economy begins to cough and sputter. Defaults begin to rise. They lent billions on assets declining in value. When the Repos begin to pile up at the auction, the values decline even further. Nobody wants these cars, and in practical terms, the cars are worthless. And the shit the flows uphill. Now, imagine home prices with the same gambit, only 200 times the amount of those used car loans each. Think Floriduh!
The Taco administration is quietly trying to give the automotive industry some tariff relief. Shhh, don’t tell anyone, but the Commerce Department is working on tariff exemptions for auto parts. It’s like putting a cherry on top of a shit Sundae. There! That’s much better! It is all caving in on them.
Why, as the Junta tries to gut Medicaid, does Kristi Noem need a brand new $50 million-dollar private jet? No one can seem to explain how that appropriation got into the Coast Guard budget. I suspect it’s a get away jet. Here to Dubai on a single tank of gas.
Today the No Kings rallies take place across the nation and a little bird tells me the crowds will be frighteningly massive. Insiders say the dictator is dyspeptic over it. Panicked, frantic and angry. His world is falling apart. “Oh no, it’s happening again!”
In Portland, the ICE dungeon called 911 for an ambulance. Somehow one of the individuals taken into custody had a broken his collarbone. I wonder how that happened? Anyway, when the Ambulance arrived, the driver put the ambulance in park and the ambulance rolled forward slightly about an inch. ICE thugs immediately pointed automatic weapons at the driver’s head and accused him of having a sloppy transmission on purpose. Accusing the driver of attempting to hit the agents with a parked ambulance and threatening his arrest.
When dealing with such professionalism, it is really only a matter of time before they do something stupid. You know how cops are always given the benefit of the doubt? If the cop says you were doing 60 and you say you were doing forty. Guess who wins? The other day, while the Junta was making their case for the ICE thugs. A Federal judge asked. “What if the DHS agents are detached from reality?” Have you ever heard a judge ask such a question as that before?
Rumors say the orange turd is pressuring Indiana to do a Texas style redistricting. If so, the dictator is off his roller skates! If Republicans are worried about losing Indiana…it’s all over.
Today is a big day for America and a big day for Trump. If you think this “No King’s” rally is big. Wait until you see the next one! It means the beginning of the end for the Junta!
“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” – John Kennedy
“A mob is coming here in six months to hang the other ninety-five of you damned scoundrels, and I’m undecided whether to stick here with you or go out and lead them.” — Huey Long, Senate floor speech
“The liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerated the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than the democratic state itself. That in its essence is fascism: ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or any controlling private power.” ― Franklin D. Roosevelt
