Do you promise not to tell?” The secret involves a seven-dollar jar of mayonnaise and a $3.59 can of pork and beans. It involves a $14.00 pound of coffee. The other day I heard a mainstream media maven report last month’s employment numbers (the last released publicly) were 32,000. No, no, no cutie. The previous month was plus 75,000 jobs. The king was so angered and heads rolled. But last month’s jobs numbers weren’t 32,000. They were MINUS 32,000 jobs!
The stock market is buoyed by the tech giants and the promise of AI. (Artificial Idiocy) And it has been compared with the .com bubble of the 1990s. Only this bubble is very different. The .com bubble lowered overhead for employers and expanded the marketplace. The AI bubble only lowers overhead by reducing employees. It does nothing to expand the marketplace, instead it collapses it. It reduces the number of paid employees necessary to run the business but doesn’t add one dollar to sales.
China has signed twenty-year contracts for Argentine soybeans and won’t be coming back. High tech super expensive jet fighters, like tanks, are rapidly becoming obsolete on the battlefield. Like, battleships in days of old that had become too expensive to risk. Today it’s a 100-million-dollar fighter jet. A $10,000 drone can do the same job better and without risking a pilot. Bye, bye fighter jet industry. The associated conglomerate criminal assholes calling themselves the Trump Administration have made the United Snakes an untrustworthy ally, and an international pariah. Objectively, given current conditions, which jets would you choose for your airline? Boeing or Airbus? Welcome to crazy town.
Christmas commercials are already flooding the airwaves even before Halloween, let alone Thanksgiving. The reason is simple…fear! The retailers read the tea leaves and fear. JC Penny is offering $5.00 pajamas as a loss leader. Because they know this year’s Christmas sales will be record lows. There is something very wrong with this economy outside of the Hrump tariffs. The former middle-class are reaching the end of their economic rope. For the majority of Americans, they can no longer afford to buy a home or a new car.
Citizens without discretionary income become a drag on the economy. They don’t add to the totals they subtract from them. What to do? What to do? Let’s try giving billionaires the largest tax cut in American history and see if that will work. The other day, the dickless Dickhead pushed for more oil and gas exploration in Alaska. Alaskan oil is shipped overseas, and not a single drop ever reaches the United Snakes. America first? Not hardly. More like billionaires first and everyone else can eat grass. The tinted tyrant sanctioned Russian oil to help raise the price. He’s in the pocket of the oil companies and doesn’t give a shit what price you pay at the pump.
ICE thug Tom Holman took $50,000 in a paper bag in an FBI sting and the money just disappeared. Poof! Right before your eyes! This isn’t a government, it’s a criminal cabal. The dickless Dickhead extorts $300 million from industry to build his ball less room. A room with no music and a room without any joy. History will call it a funeral home. My election platform says, “If elected, I’ll tear that son of a bitch down! I’ll strip off the gold leaf! And I’ll rebuild the rose garden!”
But the secret is that this it’s not an accident and is all planned and quite intentional. This cushy republic has become too expensive for the billionaires and Republican dickhead’s liking. It is a collapsing empire accelerated by intense greed, stupid ideology and criminal incompetence. A federal shutdown with billions of dollars in lost productivity. Federal workers lining up as first timers at food banks. During the Hoover depression, the Republicans argued against federal intervention. They said, let the private charities take care of it! The private charities were wiped out within a couple of months.
A neo-liberal, Fascist Feudal Republic where generational wealth lives inside the castle walls and the peasants sleep outdoors in the cold. No Medicare or Medicaid. No SNAP benefits or unemployment insurance and certainly no social security. This isn’t just about your economic future; it is about your liberty! Masked men in unmarked cars are black bagging Americans without any civil rights whatsoever. The corrupted, crippled Republican Extreme court grovels before the feet of the warlord.
The dictator can do whatever he wants now. He can tear down the White House without asking. He can murder South American fishermen because he feels like it. Drug cartels don’t use open fishing boats to move tons of cocaine. It’s a media stunt. A murderous media stunt. “The criminal Montag has been eliminated!” and the terrorist named V is dead!
Four million Americans showed for the first “No Kings” protest and seven million for the second. And the third? And the fourth? We must welcome and gladly accept them into our ranks without recrimination. Former Maga Republicans and farmers and all, because they are us. We have all made mistakes. Malcom X once said, you’d drink from a dirty glass if someone hadn’t taught you better. There are only two sides in this conflict – Us and them. And only one side will prevail. As they learn better, they must be welcomed because they too, are Americans. They might have been silly and stupid or misguided, but they are all us now.
Which side are you on? The rapers and pillagers of society? Do you favor destroying public education and starving the poor? Are you in favor of murderous dictators, concentration camps and congressional rubber stamps? Do you favor billionaires having more, no matter how many children go hungry or sick or die needlessly? Time was, when you could ignore politics. Not any more, because politics will no longer ignore you. Politics will decide if you eat today or where you’ll sleep tonight.
Only one side will prevail in this second American revolution. And that outcome is left entirely up to YOU! Will your grandchildren praise your name or curse your memory?
