Let’s begin with new home starts. Home starts are the lowest they’ve been in five years. Five years ago was the Covid pandemic. So new home starts are the lowest since a worldwide pandemic paralyzed the economy. Manufacturing has fallen for ten months in a row. Trucking companies are shutting their doors and have laid off thousands of truckers. The job market has been negative for two out of the last three months. And the month before that, the government didn’t publish a jobs report.

Ask the Trump regime how the economy is doing and they answer, “Great, wonderful! Never been better!” But checking what’s left of the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows the opposite to be true. In nearly every industry is found, loss and decline. Will the regime ever admit we are in a recession? Of course they won’t! And if they won’t admit it, how will they ever fix it? They can’t and won’t fix it; they will simply reject reality.

There is a great deal of similarity between the demonstrations in Iran and the demonstrations in the United States. The Iranian mullahs are also rejecting reality. The Iranians are marching in the streets out of genuine economic distress. But they also march in the streets over the mullahs ignoring their plight and rejecting the reality of the situation. When the mullahs should take a conciliatory view of the people’s plight. Before they shut down the internet and begin shooting into the crowds.

In the wake of the murder of Renee Good, the Trump regime should have taken a conciliatory tone. Feigned regret for the situation and for the victim. Promise a fair investigation and put the agent on leave. Instead, they say, “Domestic Terrorism!” And President Demented Grandpa says ICE agents have absolute immunity. But like Iran, our citizens by the tens of thousands are now protesting in the streets. Is it really over, Renee Good or over Donald Trump? Like the mullahs in Iran, the Trump regime rejects reality in favor of enforced conformity.

Polling on the illegal invasion of Venezuela shows only one in ten Democrats support it. In the all-important Independent voter category. The polling shows only two in ten independent voters support the invasion. That’s 80% against! Overall, only three in ten Americans support the invasion. That’s almost 70% against. President Demented Grandpa claims he is now the President of Venezuela. It is a rejection of reality of the highest order. Illegal, immoral, and delusional.

The President doubles down on threats to invade Greenland and Cuba. Great Britain is considering sending combat troops to the Danish island. The Danes, for their part, have issued a “shoot first and ask questions later” order. A French general calls the United States the enemy and promises any invasion of Greenland means war. The old adage applies: “You don’t need to buy the cow if the milk is free.” President Demented Grandpa insists we do. Otherwise, Russia or China will steal it! Which is total nonsense. Russia couldn’t and China wouldn’t. Just folly and fabrication from the misadministration that believes fentanyl comes from Venezuela.

The House of representing has voted to reinstate the Affordable Care Act subsidies. The Senate is likely to go along. President Demented Grandpa says if passed, he will veto them! Seventeen Republicans crossed over to vote with Democrats because they are looking down the barrel of a political bloodbath. Here is some news you can use! There are no safe districts for Republicans anymore. They are all swing states now! The farm belt, once so red, is now in play.

President Demented Grandpa, Didn’t like ExxonMobil’s CEO’s crack, calling Venezuela uninvestable. How dare he contradict the King’s reality! Gramps says Exxon might be pushed out of any future conversations. The largest oil company in the United States. The largest oil company in Texas. The folks in Houston, Dallas, and Austin might not like hearing such talk. Texas might turn Blue.

President Demented Grandpa has made remarks about cancelling the midterm elections. Maybe he’s just testing the waters and floating a trial balloon. He also lamented his fear that the Republicans might lose the House and Senate, and he would be impeached. Don’t look now, but he intends to do just that. He did it once before, right? The President is off his rocker and acts like someone with no fear of losing elections. He has sicked the Justice Department on Fed Chair Jerome Powell, because Gramps wants control of the Federal Reserve. Gramps wants control of everything.

Gramps has full control of the media, and out of fear they no longer report unpleasant facts. They don’t report falling home prices. They don’t report new car lots overflowing with unsellable inventory. They don’t report empty wholesale car auctions because there are no trade ins to auction. They don’t report car repossessions are at all-time highs. They don’t report CarMax recently had its stock downgraded by 50%. They don’t report consumer inflation continues to ravage the consumer economy. They don’t report home foreclosures reaching near “Great Recession” levels. Because Big Brother is watching them! And Big Brother wouldn’t like it!

ExxonMobil is correct; Venezuela is uninvestable. The administration is rejecting reality. They are delusional and unreachable. No one may dare to challenge the king’s opinion. The economy is doing great! Don’t let the facts and figures confuse you! Who remembers their big idea of the  50-year mortgage? That was going to be their answer, but now dead as doornail. The big banks are receiving hundreds of billions of dollars in emergency loans to cover losses. But, gee, everything is going great!

The Federal Reserve held a Treasury bond auction and zero-point zero percent of the bonds were purchased by overseas investors. Overseas investors no longer see the United States as a safe place to park their money. Demented Grandpa calls on Congress to increase the military budget by 50%. From one trillion dollars to 1.5 trillion dollars. He has wars planned and conquests to make! We need more hundred-million-dollar fighter jets and ten-billion-dollar big battleships. Ignoring Ukraine with three million dollars in drones recently destroyed close to a billion dollars in Russian oil refineries. Demented Grandpa is rejecting reality again.

Who inside this administration would dare to argue, if it means instant termination. When it is so much easier to simply reject reality and just play along. Low-caliber, high-ambition characters with bloodlust in their hearts and greed in their eyes.
