The Blood of Patriots

By David Glenn Cox

Senate Republicans voted to restrain Mr. Trump’s military adventures and then voted to unrestrain Mr. Trump’s military adventures in Venezuela. The same Senate Republicans then warned Mr. Trump not to even think of seizing Greenland. I’ll bet that he’s really scared now. It makes an important point. Trump is not acting alone. He has collaborators and accomplices who should be wary of their possible prosecution. Trump’s crimes are also their crimes. They helped to put ICE on the ground in Minneapolis and are just as complicit in Renee Good’s murder.

Attorney Criminal Pam Bondi ranks high on the list as she presides over a nearly empty Justice Department building. So far, twelve assistant US attorneys have resigned from the Justice Department rather than play their part in repeating the “To Kill a Mockingbird,” show trial. It points to an illegitimate regime. The king’s revenge arm. Searching a New York Times reporter’s apartment on the same charge Mr. Trump was charged with. Sending a subliminal message to the press. “I’ll fix you!” Wrangle the king and watch what happens!

House Republicans subpoenaed Bill and Hillary Clinton to talk about Epstein while covering up for the pedophile in chief. They have no shame. They embarrass their own mothers with their hypocritical audacity. And so, they take on his crimes like a coat of many colors. And they can put the coat on at their leisure, but they can never ever in their lives take the coat off again. The Republicans in Congress are steeped and tattooed with Trump’s crimes.

The Artemis II moon mission is scheduled for a launch rollout this week. Five will get you ten, Mr. Trump claims the moon as ours and ours alone, and renames it the Donald Trump Memorial Moon. He’ll say, we need the moon for our national security before Russia or China try to steal it! The man is certfiably insane and leading this country into a bad place. It’s obvious to all, and yet all around us congressional Republicans continue to act as if all is normal. Alarm bells are going off all around the world while Republicans pretend not to hear them.

Economists warn Trump’s attempted firing of Jerome Powell is exactly what tinpot dictators do. They try to force down interest rates to spur good times. But ignite hyperinflation in the process. But inflation is already built in now. After Mr. Trump has successfully conquered Venezuela, ignited a trade war, threatened a NATO ally and initiated blood in American streets. Nations are shying away from investing in the US economy, and the net result will be higher interest rates to try and lure them back into the fold. But investors see what congressional Republicans do not. The situation won’t get any better by itself. Until Mr. Trump is stopped, it will only continue to get worse.

The Administration, with the help of Fox News and affiliated propaganda networks, bury bad news. We have a farm crisis. Trump makes pronouncements and puts the story to bed. But it’s not solved. We still have a farm crisis. We have a very sick economy. The Administration counters, “No, everything is great!” But we still have a very sick consumer economy. Fox News says Pam Bondi fired the twelve attorneys who resigned from the Justice Department. They will go to any length to cover up the truth, illustrating just how desperate and mongoloid they have become.

Like the X files, the facts are out there, but the figures are not. I have looked diligently for Christmas sales numbers and come up empty. Oh, there are lots of rosy forecasts about how great it’s going to be. And it’s not like the old days. We have computers now and should have Christmas sales numbers available before the third week in January. Auto sales are terrible. Home prices are sliding as time on the market grows. New home starts are the lowest since the pandemic. Food prices are still rising as employment slides. A Ford line worker calls the President a “pedophile protector” and gets suspended from his job. (Is it not true?) Trump responds with “Fuck you” and flips the worker the bird. But look who is in trouble! Ford suspends the worker, but his go fund me page is at over half a million dollars! Every dollar is an American saying that they are sick and tired of Donald Trump’s bullshit.

History tells us that this is nothing new. The government has been killing citizens in the streets almost from the very beginning. Haymarket Square, the Ludlow massacre, the Pullman strike, Matawan, Central Park riots, Dearborn massacre, Kent State and now Minneapolis. “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time by the blood of patriots and tyrants.” – Thomas Jefferson. Whoever he was.

MISSING! Have you seen this man? He goes by the name of Kash Patel. And he was last seen escorting his country singer squeeze box around the country on an FBI jet and security detail. This is how they operate. Trump doesn’t fire his cabinet officers; he puts them in time out and bars them from the media. Adolf Hitler was once asked why he tolerated such corruption and incompetence in his subordinates? He replied, “It makes them easier to deal with.” They won’t argue or complain because he allowed them to steal.

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.” ― Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn

“THERE were two “Reigns of Terror,” if we would but remember it and consider it; the one wrought murder in hot passion, the other in heartless cold blood; the one lasted mere months, the other had lasted a thousand years; the one inflicted death upon ten thousand persons, the other upon a hundred millions; but our shudders are all for the “horrors” of the minor Terror, the momentary Terror, so to speak; whereas, what is the horror of swift death by the axe, compared with lifelong death from hunger, cold, insult, cruelty, and heart-break? What is swift death by lightning compared with death by slow fire at the stake? A city cemetery could contain the coffins filled by that brief Terror which we have all been so diligently taught to shiver at and mourn over; but all France could hardly contain the coffins filled by that older and real Terror—that unspeakably bitter and awful Terror which none of us has been taught to see in its vastness or pity as it deserves.” ― Mark Twain
