If you ever needed proof, we live under a totalitarian dictatorship; you need look no further than the inquisition of Jack Smith. The neutered poodle of a Congress has nothing better to do with its time than to rehash and attempt to rewrite history just to please King Donald, the Turd. As these things generally go with modern Republicans, the whole thing blew up in their faces. But it’s not the events inside the hearings, but the hearings themselves. As was stated by Congressman Swalwell, “this was a joke.”

The Congress, the State Duma. The rump rubber stamp of reactionary, transactionary Republicans. The complaint department for Donald Trump’s crotch crickets has nothing better to do with its time than to slavishly kiss the golden bronzed ass of the dictator. Outside of Donald Trump and those directly involved, does anyone really care? The public is so horrified and beaten down by Trump’s current crop of crimes and heresies as to be numb to those events of six years ago.

The matter was nicely summed up. Did Donald Trump attempt to steal the election? Yes. Did Donald Trump unlawfully attempt to influence election officials? Yes. Was Donald Trump the person most culpable for the events on January 6^th? Yes. From there, the hearings devolved into sound bite theater. “The gentleman from Ohio wearing the yellow tie. Is recognized for five minutes to browbeat and abuse  the witness in an attempt to generate Fox News headlines. It was television law and legal mumbo jumbo. “Isn’t it true! Didn’t you know? Why was no one else charged? It was all a plot to attack our dear leader, Donald Trump! Wasn’t it?”

“Oy yeah, oy yeah, All rise for the courtroom scene, take one!” I’d like to take one too! – The Firesign Theater.

But it is all meaningless. Nothing will be done. No one is going to jail. The hamster wheel spins round and round. Nobody’s mind has been changed. As Smith himself said, it is all an attempt to find grounds to prosecute him by the angry little king. Grounds to be turned over to the watered-down and wilted, beauty queen jilted Justice Department. Staffed by partisan beauty queen runners-up. Who could prosecute a ham sandwich, but who couldn’t get a conviction for being pork.

Meanwhile, the public waits patiently for the release of the Epstein files. As Congress does nothing about the administration’s stonewalling. The gross malfeasance and manufactured nonsense. “Bring us the heads of Bill and Hillary Clinton! The royal congress demands to know of all of their intrigues against the King. It is a complete absurdity. The gang of two!  “How dare they defy us! Deliver them unto us, so that we may have justice, and release Barabbas immediately!

The Republicans in Congress have not only neglected their duty. They’ve made a mockery of it! All to please just one person. They’ve turned Congress into a poodle show and flea circus, and made it clear to all just who it is that they work for. Congress is no more a representative legislative body than a book club. Just another organ of the king’s propaganda wing. Out to right the wrongs of the king’s bronzed and bruised ego.

Let the trumpets sound! Let the good news of the king’s success wash over us and be heard by all! After careful and delicate negotiations, the king has achieved a great success! Everything will stay just as it was! Huzzah for the king! Greenland has agreed to allow the US to return to its former military bases abandoned, oh so many years ago. And to stay there forever, if they like. The world is saved! In other news, the sun is predicted to rise in the east. The tides will be allowed to follow their normal patterns, thanks to an edict by the king.

Also not in the news, new home starts are the worst in this century. Too big to fail banks are receiving emergency loans from the Federal Reserve. Manufacturing has fallen for ten straight months. Inflation remains steady at 3.5%. Foreign investors and governments are selling off US Treasury bonds, and the dollar fell in value every month last year. And on this news, Wall Street soars! It’s the last dance night on the Titanic.

Wall Street is obsessed with the possibilities of Artificial Intelligence, so much so. It has abandoned using the original product. It’s magical thinking! AI is going to save us all! AI is going to be the biggest thing since the Hupmobile! Oh, I can’t wait! Take my money! Take my money! Take it now! I demand it! What? What do you mean it might take another five years and billions more dollars than previously anticipated? Who cares? AI is going to save us all! Why with AI we can do away with millions and millions of jobs! It’ll be wonderful! A new golden age! Profits will soar once we do away with all of those expensive workers. (America first!)

Like dinosaurs cannibalizing themselves. It never dawns on the Wall Street elite just what AI will do to Wall Street jobs. Why do I need some six-figure over educated pompous ass telling me where to put my money? I’ve got a machine to do that now!

The polling is in! And the public has spoken! The king sucks! So, do away with any such polling! Never let it be said that twenty years in Alabama isn’t educational. In two decades, I learned a great deal about polling in a small fishbowl. We cherry-picked one thousand Alabamians in selected zip codes and found. Tax cuts are good for the economy! If the issue were gun control and they wanted a pro-gun control result. They would poll inner-city Birmingham. If they wanted an anti-gun control opinion, they would poll rural Alabama.

So when they try to tell me the President’s popularity remains at 40% despite murders, invasions, and a Gestapo in the streets kicking down doors, color me skeptical. 92% of Democrats disapprove of Trump’s handling of the Epstein files? Really? Do you honestly mean to tell me there are 8% of Democrats somewhere who approve or are undecided? Where? Show me one! This next number is even better, 25% of Republicans approve of Donald Trump’s handling of the Epstein files. Riddle me that one, Batman? It was the Republicans who railed and rallied about Jeffrey Epstein. It was Donald Trump who promised, if elected, to release all the Epstein files.

We approve of his lying to us! I’m real glad he did that! Republicans are abandoning the Republican Party over Epstein. But the polling says 25% of Republicans are happy Trump isn’t releasing the Epstein files, like he promised. Something is wrong here. Either the polls lied a year ago or they are lying now. There is no way on earth Donald Trump’s popularity remains at 40%.

It’s like space aliens, they don’t dare to tell you the truth. If they were to announce that Donald Trump’s popularity was actually at 19 or 9% that would be an issue beyond public control. “Lies, damn lies, and statistics.” – Mark Twain
