Eyes Wide Shut

By David Glenn Cox

Donald Trump stormed and stammered his way around Air Force One, repeating over and over. I’ve been exonerated, I’ve been exonerated, exonerated! To the point where you begin to wonder who he was talking to exactly. Like a suspect in complete denial. I’m not guilty. I’m not guilty! I’m not, I’m not! For someone mentioned tens of thousands of times in the Epstein files, it’s very telling. As Trump always projects. Trump is the example which proves the rule. “It’s better to remain silent and be thought a fool.”

Richard Nixon escaped going to prison because what Nixon did was relatively small. He okayed the crimes, but It didn’t save him. It was Nixon’s soldiers, though, who went to jail. Right now, in a just world Kash Patel will likely go to jail. (Perjury) Pam Bondi (Perjury, Racketeering) Pete Hegseth (War Crimes) Howard Lutnick (Perjury and general douchebaggery) Kristi Noem (crimes against humanity) Tom Homan (crimes against humanity). Jared Kushner won’t go to jail; he’ll probably flee to Saudi Arabia or Dubai or anywhere without an extradition treaty.

Lost in the mounting evidence surrounding Jeffrey Epstein’s sex crimes and perhaps serial murders are his links to foreign intelligence services. Primarily Israel and Russia. (We get most of our money from Russia!) Did you know Vladimir Putin has a new peace plan? He wants to sign a vast new trade agreement with Donald Trump. Sort of like NAFTA for dictators. Did he already discuss this with Trump? Apparently he did. In Russia this plan is common knowledge, while in America, the land of the free, this is all very hush-hush. Little Marco Polio praises Victor Orban, the Hungarian dictator wannabe. While we are stuck tracking the trail of the Trump/Epstein files, Trump moves to collude with dictators and killers.

I would regard it as one of the most awful things I’ve ever heard of. Only some things I’ve recently heard of are even more appalling. Did you know that besides pedophilia and rape, Jeffrey Epstein had other hobbies? He sent away for books on sadomasochism. An email from the Epstein files from a United Arab Emirates official to Epstein. “I loved the torture video.” Do you begin to see the horror show unfolding here right before your eyes?

In Mexico, about fifteen minutes flying time from the Zorro Ranch in New Mexico, a grave was discovered containing the bodies of several young women. Many were believed to be prostitutes. Maybe New York and Palm Beach were headquarters for the polite Jeffrey Epstein. The socialite Jeffrey Epstein, while the Zorro Ranch was the headquarters for the darker Jeffrey Epstein. The man who built an incinerator on the property. Allegedly, there were two young women strangled and buried somewhere on the Zorro Ranch. Women who died during sadomasochistic sex on a ranch owned by a man ordering books on sadomasochism who sent torture videos to his friends.

The late filmmaker Stanley Kubrick’s last film was titled “Eyes Wide Shut.” In it, a man who was looking for a thrill wanders into an underground cult of the ultra-rich and powerful. Critics panned the film as too over the top and weird. But was it? Or was Kubrick trying to say in film what could not be spoken of? In any case, what Epstein has exposed is a secret two-tiered system. Where rich elites can do whatever they like. Lie, cheat, steal, rape, and even murder, and the government will protect them. The same sort of government which will fund tax cuts for the rich by taking healthcare away from the poor. Fuck em! Right?

It’s all the same thing. The government prosecuted Jeffrey Epstein despite government interference to keep from prosecuting Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein was accused of 35 sex crimes involving minors. And got an 18-month sentence of night jail. He was free to go to his office for 12 hours a day and continue his crime spree. After 13 long months of this night-time confinement Epstein was released on parole. He moved his operation to his island and continued on with his spree and business as usual. He was required to register as a sex offender, but in New Mexico there was a loophole, and he didn’t have to.

It’s the most unusual thing. French modeling agent Jean -Luc Brunel opened an office in New York with Jeffery Epstein’s help and financial backing. He held young modeling contests similar to the ones Donald Trump had once put on. And when Brunel was arrested on suspicion of rape and sexually exploiting minors. You’ll never guess what happened? Gosh! He hung himself in his jail cell. It’s a small world, isn’t it? Like Epstein, Brunel hadn’t been convicted yet, only accused.

A mortician examining the photos from Epstein’s autopsy found something very strange. The mark around Epstein’s neck was straight across and well defined. If someone had hung themselves with a bed sheet, the abrasion should be in a U shape around the neck and going up around the ears. The wound should appear more like an abrasion or a rope burn and not like a wire. It was a wound Epstein could not have inflicted on himself. It’s perhaps the law and the unwritten law. The rich and powerful are protected unless they threaten the rich and powerful by exposing them. Then? It’s all over. The same power which protects them silences them.

It sort of makes you wonder, doesn’t it? What would happen if Donald Trump were to take one toke over the line? PBS –“Questions remain one year after an attempted assassination attempt on former President Trump.” Let’s do an inventory, shall we? Lone nut with a gun? Check! Incredible security lapse by the Secret Service? Check! Open air venue? Check! Suspect killed (Dead men tell no tales) Check! It has all the earmarks of something strangely familiar, doesn’t it?

Eyes wide shut! In an Epstein email, Jeffrey referred to Supreme Court candidate Brett Kavanaugh as “Reliable.” He’s one of us! We can trust him! The Supreme Court should be renamed the secret court of American injustice. The unelected star chamber for the wealthy and powerful. Pam Bondi takes a memo entitled “Jeffrey Epstein’s Victims” and fails to redact their names. And publishes it! “Whoops!” Then Bondi takes a similar memo, “Jeffrey Epstein’s Co-conspirators,” and she redacts it! Either Bondi is the most incompetent Attorney General in American history, or she’s in on it. She’s fighting tooth and nail to protect the criminals from the victims and from the American public. Bondi has shown herself as too smart to be that dumb. So what is going on here becomes all too obvious.

Eyes wide shut!

Yeah, that’s her with the gold. I better use some Tic Tacs just in case I start kissing her. You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful… I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything.”

“Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”

“I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy,” Trump told New York Magazine in 2002. “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”

Ignore! Ignore! Sleep! Sleep!

“A nation is truly corrupted when having…lost its character and it’s liberty, it passes from democracy to aristocracy or to monarchy. That is the decrepitude and death of the body politic…” ― Maximilien de Robespierre

“THERE were two “Reigns of Terror,” if we would but remember it and consider it; the one wrought murder in hot passion, the other in heartless cold blood; the one lasted mere months, the other had lasted a thousand years; the one inflicted death upon ten thousand persons, the other upon a hundred millions; but our shudders are all for the “horrors” of the minor Terror, the momentary Terror, so to speak; whereas, what is the horror of swift death by the axe, compared with lifelong death from hunger, cold, insult, cruelty, and heart-break? What is swift death by lightning compared with death by slow fire at the stake? A city cemetery could contain the coffins filled by that brief Terror which we have all been so diligently taught to shiver at and mourn over; but all France could hardly contain the coffins filled by that older and real Terror—that unspeakably bitter and awful Terror which none of us has been taught to see in its vastness or pity as it deserves.”  ― Mark Twain
