This Carbon Based Life

Are you angry yet? Or frightened? You should be both. Be you white, black, gay or straight, or polka dot. American democracy is no longer a given. We are a country in flux, and it will all be resolved one way or another in the next few years.

A malignant narcissist and a congenital liar and child rapist has seized power, and it is questionable if he will ever relinquish it to the will of the people. Be afraid, be very afraid. Accept in your heart that the conflict is coming, whether we like it or not. Accept that we must fight Fascism with all our strength, or we are lost. What about the children? How will you explain it to them when they ask why we didn’t fight harder or do more? Accept that, like December 7, 1941 we too face our own “Day of Infamy.” We can’t leave it to the courts or to Congress; they have already failed us and will repeatedly fail us again and again, and the issue is far too important to be left to failures.

You and I are but tiny little specks in the giant satellite photo of life. Alone we are powerless, but together we are terrifying to the power elite. If we refuse to move out of the way, the regime will stumble and fall. But the people with billions of dollars and influence who could blunt the machine are so stupid that they play along trying to protect their fortunes.

I come to bury Jeff Bezos and not to praise him. Bezos is living proof why the tax rate on billionaires should be in the upper 100% range. After spending $75 million dollars on a dick-sucking Malaria (Call Girl) Trump documentary. Bezos then spins on a dime and guts the Washington Post because he’s been losing too much money for too long. Why sure! That makes all kinds of sense. Doesn’t it? By cutting the product, they can return to profitability!

But besides the top of his head, Bezos has a point. Newspapers in their current form are obsolete. Back in the dark ages, when I was a kid. The Chicago Tribune would publish the music to one popular song in the Sunday edition. If you didn’t like that song…tough. Better luck next week. Today with YouTube, I can get the music to any song I like. ESPN made a big splash in the 90s with an all-sports format. Today, I don’t need ESPN; I can get sports news anywhere instantly.

But a coward is a hero when compared to a traitor. Some poor slug with nothing who runs away in the face of authoritarian power as opposed to someone with the power and protection who could fight, but doesn’t. A country which has given Bezos immense wealth which he is unwilling to fight for. He’d rather bend a knee and drop his pants. I’m proud to say I’ve purchased nothing from Amazon. I should be glad that Jeff Bezos is a low-life piece of excrement, because it helps me. He assists This Carbon-Based Life.

You can’t trust the mainstream or broadcast media. Billionaires hiring millionaires to smile at you and lie to your face with whatever self-serving reason appeals to them at the moment. They pretend to be honest and non-partisan with phony objectivity and phony intellectual curiosity. I don’t! I am fully partisan and fully biased and damn proud of it! “I fight for my corner and I stay until the closing bell.” I have no ulterior motives. This is me! I don’t like the billionaires, monopolies, anchormen with quaffed hair and perfect teeth, or people dressed in outfits that cost more than the average mortgage payment. Stroking their chins, confused, and answering, “Well, perhaps that is so.”

I have worked hard for a living every day of my life. That’s MY side! I will always stick up for my side! I can’t be bought off. I will hide in the mountains like Che and fight until the end. For there is no greater glory or fulfilment in life than fighting in a life-or-death struggle for what is right and what is just. No lower coward than a billionaire selling out and sucking dick. Playing astronaut or dilettante fascist lackeys or useful idiots.

I don’t sell merchandise; I sell ideas. I am a partisan fighter in a partisan fight for whatever is left of the soul of the United States. I say that proudly. I also say Donald Trump is a murderer and a child rapist and a madman, and anyone who supports him in any way is my sworn enemy. Any Democrat who goes along with any Trump compromises is my enemy. Why haven’t the impeachment proceeding begun yet? You give me one good reason why not, and I’ll give you ten good reasons why they should!

If concentration camps don’t scare you and masked thugs kicking down doors doesn’t scare you. People shot dead in the streets. Either you are much braver than I, or you’re a fool. Mr. Trump is talking about federalizing the elections. The Republican Party, that champion of states’ rights, is now willing to gladly give them away. If states don’t run their own elections, then Washington becomes all powerful, and will dictate to you who your congressman or senator, or Governor will be. State candidates for office will campaign in Washington. Because the votes in Omaha or Des Moines won’t matter. “In a surprise upset, we counted the votes and our hand-picked candidate has won with 98% of the vote.” Obviously, if Trump is for it, it is a corrupt, and I’m against it. Other than die or get the hell out of my White House with your prostitute wife, I’m against everything Trump says or does until the end of time. I’m a patriot, not a collaborator.
