Hooray for Murder!

By David Glenn Cox

It’s good news, everyone! Ain’t it great news? The United Snakes and Israel have murdered a sovereign head of state! Gee, Maduro sure was lucky, wasn’t he? Back before World War 2, the thinking was that strategic bombing would demoralize the enemy population into surrender. What they discovered was that the opposite was true. England didn’t surrender under Hitler’s bombs, and the Germans didn’t surrender under Allied bombing. The Japanese didn’t surrender, and neither did the North Vietnamese or the Iraqis. The orange Fuhrer hints on his Twuth Social media that the bombing campaign could go on for weeks. Money is no object! We always have enough money for war.

Never mind the cost or the legality. Or even morality. Morality? what’s that? We, the President of the United Snakes and his ruling clique, wanted the Ayatollah dead. That’s all that matters, end of story! And now we’re bombing their country to liberate those poor Iranians. We’re setting them free, one airstrike at a time. You see, their government was evil and repressive. But we’re setting them free by killing them. A girl’s elementary school was liberated, killing over a hundred children. Ain’t that great? Oh, well, fog of war, it can’t be helped, I guess.

“War is peace.
Freedom is slavery.
Ignorance is strength.”

The American media is beside itself with murderous, bloodthirsty joy. Never mind Epstein! Never mind a tepid economy. Never mind the sick and hungry. We’re killing people in the name of Truth, Justice, and the American Way! The Iranian government was evil. They massacred demonstrators! Did anyone see it happen? Who told you they massacred demonstrators? Besides, the same people who are dropping bombs on them today? Besides, the Orange Fuhrer who said if they did that, he would do something about it immediately, and he did nothing. Are we killing Iranians today to liberate them from tyranny? If we are going to fight tyranny, I can think of a location a little closer to home.

Rules are made to be broken, and if I’m unhappy with my government, what should I do about it? Vote or throw bombs? If murder is to be celebrated, shouldn’t all murder be celebrated? I mean, if you had a good reason like Trump and Hegseth. Like if  you wanted something a person had and they wouldn’t give it to you?  I don’t like their government, so let’s kill them! Eight trillion dollars spent murdering Saddam and the Taliban. Did that make your life better? Thousands of Americans dead or grievously wounded. It was done for someone, but not for you. What did we learn? Nothing, we learned nothing.

A government setting up concentration camps and building a masked secret police force is fighting tyranny! What a laugh! A government planning to use artificial intelligence to surveil its own people is fighting tyranny 6,000 miles away in your name. But only in your name, because you have no voice. Your so-called congress has no voice. It’s all up to Der Fuhrer now. Support the troops! They’re following those illegal orders for you! And killing, to set those poor Iranians free, one airstrike at a time.

When the Nazis murdered Austrian Chancellor Dollfuss in 1934, it was a good thing, right? When Pinochet murdered Salvador Allende, that was a good thing, right? He was liberating Chile one bullet at a time. It all depends on which way the gun is pointed, doesn’t it?

It’s all so reminiscent of the bombing of Iraq with Donald Rumsfeld bragging about a few dead enders. With playing cards describing the value of each potential murder victim. Ha-ha! Murder is fun! Their side is evil and our side is pure and righteous! Countries which use assassinations and targeted killings are generally? A, Judicial and lawful. B. Thoughtful and well-meaning. C. Murderous fraudulent tyrannies.

According to officials in Oman. The Iranians had agreed to stop enriching Uranium and further meetings were planned for Monday. Good idea, boss! Hit them while they aren’t looking. Make them think there was a peaceful settlement coming and then, Blamo! Let em have it! Murder them in their beds when they least expect it! “See you Monday, tee hee.”

Gavin Newsom issued a statement offering grudging respect for the administration. He lost my vote. He went whole hog on the nuclear bomb myth. What do we, as Americans, actually know about Iran and the Iranian government? For forty years they’ve told us Iran was building a nuclear weapon, but somehow, North Korea beat them to it? It all begins to smell like Saddam had chemical weapons and aluminum tubes. Maybe they were the most evil government on the planet. Does that give us the right to murder them? What kind of fucking world are we building here? Might makes right! Kill them all and let God sort em out! What gives with the flag waving ghouls? Would you ever cheer for airstrikes on your own country?

I think what is most important now is to see the American media without blinders on. Watch the way they cheer on illegalities and murder. And don’t doubt for a moment, that they wouldn’t cheer on the military storming your house with guns blazing. “The criminal Montag is dead!.” The mechanical hound will hunt you down for the TV audience, and if they can’t catch you. It will hunt down and kill someone else. And the media will cheer.

Big Brother has you watching him. Murder is good! Believe whatever they tell you! Question nothing! Would they ever lie to you? Tax cuts for the rich will make the economy hum! The wealth will trickle down and soon, we’ll all be rich!

“Now that Obama’s poll numbers are in tailspin – watch for him to launch a strike in Libya or Iran. He is desperate,” – Donald J. Trump  Thank you for your inattention

“Think of the press as a great keyboard
on which the government can play.”

― Joseph Goebbels

“O Lord our Father, our young patriots, idols of our hearts, go forth to battle — be Thou near them! With them — in spirit — we also go forth from the sweet peace of our beloved firesides to smite the foe. O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it — for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen. – Mark Twain
