It almost seems like a dream, if you wrote it you couldn’t sell it. It has that aura of “Seven Days in May,” meets the Keystone cops only with Donald Trump. Never in the field of human conflict have so few been so guilty of so much. To believe Donald Trump isn’t guilty of the things charged plus twice as much we don’t know about is willful ignorance.

The President: Well it’s very nice of you to say that. I will say that we do a lot for Ukraine. We spend a lot of effort and a lot of time. Much more than the European countries are doing, and they should be helping you more than they are. Germany does almost nothing for you. All they do is talk and I think its something that you should really ask them about. When I was speaking to Angela Merkel, she talks Ukraine, but she doesn’t do anything. A lot of the European countries are the same way so I think its something you ought to look at but the United States has been very very good to Ukraine. I wouldn’t say its reciprocal necessarily because things are happening that are not good but the United States has been very very good to Ukraine.

I would like you to do us a favor though because our country’s been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it.

This is nothing less than a monosyllabic mob style shakedown, “That’s a real nice country you got there Be a shame if something bad happened to it. A man in your position needs friends. Germany is not your friend, not like I am. You should be real good friends with me. So’s nothing bad happens. We’ve done a lot for you, you owe us.

At any other time in modern history a President caught so blatantly and glaringly stupidly guilty would resign out of simple common decency. But this is Donald Trump and Donald Trump’s Pravda, Fox News. An upside down inside out alternative reality play.  The dull witted and slow have always fallen for a Father Coughlin Joe McCarthy wanna bees. It’s like professional wrestling got to go out and fire up the crowd every few days. Yell and holler and say something about his mama. Wave the flag and do your best Lonesome Rhodes.

In three years, the Republican Party has become like locust on a tree, just bare husks. Cringing and fawning, hiding in bunkers their ideological covers blown. Yep, they’ll put kids in cages and punish their parents for being poor and seeking a better life. They’ll give the store away when it comes to the wealthy and stick it to everyone else. What happened to their healthcare plan that was going to be great? The boy king emperor of a starving third rate power tells the President of the United States to take a hike, is it any wonder they’re all laughing?

The cringing and craven Republicans must soon be called to account, move over Benedict Arnold you’re about to have some company. They took an oath to preserve protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. Now they are about to be asked, Is Donald Trump guilty? Trumps has been playing, ignore, ignore but the Democrats have built a solid case brick by brick and soon the days of ignoring will be over. These Republican Senators must decide if they will be the ones to throw the Constitution in the trash and castrate the US Congress for all time in one stroke. Their grandchildren shall curse their names. We shall have a King and if the King deems an investigation unimportant, we shall not have one.

Now if you stand on your head and squint just right maybe, just maybe you can find a lifesaving cheap excuse not to bounce this thug and his criminal gang out of the White House on charge one. But that brings you to obstruction and this is where it gets easy and this is where it gets hard. Congress has oversight powers over the executive branch period. If they ask for documents “no” is the wrong answer. The Trump Administration has been playing, “Nah Nah, you can’t make us!” but the law says your guilty.  There is no, but we had a good reason clause, they ask, you give.

Now Fox can only cover for them so much and if they vote to impeach most will probably not lose their seats and if they do, so what? They were sent to Washington to do the right thing and they did it and you can build a life on that. But how can they declare the President not guilty on obstruction? The irony of Republicans demanding to know where Adam Schiff was while defending a President and his staff who refused to show up for the entire process and they’re witnesses! If they let him walk the country, you grew up with is dead. Money talks and bullshit walks how can you trust elections in a country like that? If he gets away with it, why can’t I? The Trumpification of the Federal government. I’d like to buy an ambassadorship please, someplace warm with a beach. We thinks you should stop buying beer from them guys, wink, wink, it ain’t healthy but do us a favor though buy from us.
