Group think is a survival instinct. If everyone starts running, you start running even if you don’t know why. You’ll assume that a mob of people fleeing the scene is information enough to participate in the exercise. It is a simian trait we show off most proudly. Whether it’s the King or Big Brother, we want to believe; we want to be part of the group. Cheering for an additional 25 grams of chocolate or production increase at the tractor factory. Nobody wants to let the home team down or be late for their shift at the bomber factory.
We are a tribal animal but choose our own tribe after mother, family, relatives, friends, and acquaintances. Our inbred curiosity of “I wonder what’s in there?” tempered by the suspicion that it isn’t worth possible death finding out. But that suspicion in the crock pot of our minds and just stews all day long. “What’s he up to? Why is he doing that?” all analyzed through the webs of tribe. What your spouse thinks of you versus your mother-in-law. Based on what she sees as perfect insight to evaluate your marriage. I think the boss has got it in for me. Did you see the way that guy looked at me? I think they might shut down the plant.
It is the stuff of literature and anti-depressants, a nagging and gnawing fear of unseen enemies and villains. People outside our tribe up to no good. Consider that the illustrious Winston Smith did not get a tenth of the media maelstrom as the average American. Television was brand new, and Orwell couldn’t understand the power of a Faux News to affect group think. In 1952, there were 58,000 reported cases of polio with more than 3,000 deaths in the United States. It was an epidemic, by 1957; the Salk vaccine was widely available, and polio today is almost unheard of. They have convinced the public that a vaccine is worse than the disease. You might not catch it; it’s not so bad!
A hyperbolic cocktail telling them to buck up and be John Wayne while at the same time to be afraid of everything. “Trump’s gonna be reinstated, Bill Gates is an alien and there is a pizza parlor in Washington that has to be stopped. Once you go down that hell’s a Poppin, ”Our top story tonight!” road the rabbit hole is on your right. Ending with a neo-Soviet official story but no one ever believes the official story. The truth is only for those select few, the insiders. So, listen up, it was this guy who knew this guy who did something mysterious and had a temporary appointment in a prior administration. He’ll be Tucker Carlson’s special guest to tell you about something going on you don’t know about by someone who doesn’t know himself as illustrated by Rand Paul.
The vaccine is more dangerous than the disease it is designed to protect against. “You know, the Chinese were trying to weaponize Covid – 19.” You see, in a Communist dictatorship it’s so hard to get people fired. Trying to weaponize a disease with a 3% fatality rate when there are materials on the shelf that will kill everyone within twenty miles in twenty minutes. It doesn’t sound like a good use of the people’s resources comrade. It makes for good headlines even if it doesn’t make for good sense. “Our top story tonight! You can die if you want to, and they can’t make you take a shot!” That big oppressive government is trying to oppress you with their demonic vaccine. Your friend’s say, don’t worry be happy except for “Our top story tonight!”
Every day more traitors must be exposed, they are trying to teach your children history and radical leftist arithmetic in those public schools you don’t support. Rudy Giuliani this generations Foster Brooks, says Federal agents refused Hunter Biden’s hard drives despite having a search warrant to seize all computers and phones found in the Giuliani residence. A backwards lie that doesn’t work because if the hard drives were as damning as Four Seasons Rudy maintains. The Federal agents would jump at the chance to cart them away.
Walked down the garden path and taught to believe in witches, and Jesus and apple pie and Chevrolet. The good guys are shooting King Kong off the Empire State Building in their biplanes for being a Liberal Socialist. Grand pa has gone to the school board meeting to set them straight about what the guy on TV said about critical race theory. Walked so far into the woods they can’t find their way home and are too afraid to try. There is comfort in the lie and acceptance and a sense of belonging. You are on the inside, given privileged information only available to those with the Internet or a television. You don’t believe in the official story on CNN, not for a second.
Earthquake, “It was their secret earthquake machine.” Forest Fires, “it was Jewish Space Lasers.” Hurricanes, “It was their secret weather machine! Covid -19 vaccine, “a demonic attempt to enslave mankind making humans magnetic and unable to resist the will of Bill Gates.” Twump lost the election fair and square. “You think we’ll believe anything, don’t you?”
“The obvious types of American fascists are dealt with on the air and in the press. These demagogues and stooges are fronts for others. Dangerous as these people may be, they are not so significant as thousands of other people who have never been mentioned.
The American fascist would prefer not to use violence. His method is to poison the channels of public information.
With a fascist the problem is never how best to present the truth to the public but how best to use the news to deceive the public into giving the fascist and his group more money or more power.”
