Former Arizona Gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake claims to have new evidence in her election fight. Her claims have been dismissed by every court in the state except tennis courts. And it would be easy enough to see Lake as some whacked out My Pillow protégé. But this is now standard operating procedure for the Republicans.
Lest we forget, Donald Trump’s first impeachment trial was for withholding military supplies trying to strong arm the Ukrainians into investigating Joe Biden. Did it matter that to them that Biden was innocent? No, of course not. Just say it’s so and get everyone else inside the lie-o- sphere to cluck like excited chickens and you have instant scandal, like Cup-o-soup.
The famous Hunter Biden laptop computer bounced around for two years with no chain of custody. Meaning no matter what was found on the computer it would be inadmissible in court. But there was no attempt to bring charges this was about innuendo and character assassination. It would be easy enough to blame the father of all lies Donald Trump, but this goes back way before Trump. Hillary’s e-mails and her near endless murder spree. Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi!
Hunter Biden hired a legal defense and began to sue his accusers. And as faster than you could say computer repairman, it all died away. Hillary’s server, Obama’s birth certificate. America’s liar, Rudy Giuliani has now been disbarred and claims he’s now near poverty for the lies he told. How much money is there in making pillows? How long can Mike Lindell go on before the little red bank account needle points to E?
Kentucky Republican James Comer says the secret witness against Joe Biden has disappeared and can’t be located. (I’m shocked! Does Hillary have an alibi?) And he was the one guy who could break this case wide open too! But see, he’s a spy and sometimes spies have to disappear. You know, like “Goldfinger” or “Thunder ball!” And we were so close to having Joe Biden by the short hairs too.
After months of Republican investigation, the Republicans recently released a report that exonerated Joe Biden. Well, perhaps exonerated is too strong a word. The Jimi Jordan experience has been investigating the state court in New York. In an effort to pass the information on to the Trump Committee in an attempt to spoil the state’s case. Jordan claims Congress has oversite over state courts when nothing could be further from the truth.
But if they can tell enough lies maybe you won’t notice the Republican shenanigans. The Republican shotgun suicide budget bill is riddled with billions in corporate giveaways. But they didn’t tell you about that, did they? No, this is all about reigning in wild and reckless Democratic spending. They also didn’t mention that a quarter of the budget deficit was from the Trump tax cuts for the wealthy.
No evidence that Joe Biden ever did anything inappropriate. While Trump is under multiple investigations that are all fake news. Trump’s CEO goes the prison for financial crimes and tax fraud. Who? I hardly knew the man! Don Jr. shows up at his daddy’s convention Coked out like a Stevie Nick’s birthday party, but the story is about Hunter Biden’s drug problem.
Did you know that Hunter Biden make $640 million during his daddies’ presidency? Oh, wait! That was Ivanka Trump, my bad.
Eric Trump, future spokes model for a major condom manufacturer says they were crying in the streets when daddy returned home to Florida. Some people will buy anything! That’s why they call them low IQ voters. This is your brain on Trump.
The other day Trump and Desantis were set to have dueling banjo rallies in Des Moines. Trump cancelled his rally at the last minute due to severe weather concerns, which failed to appear. Reich’s Fuhrer Ronnie went ahead with his rally and even commented on the beautiful weather. But when you live in insect infested humid swamp with alligators and hurricanes, the weather seems nice everywhere.
But the rumors are making the rounds that the attendance wasn’t large enough. And Trump canceled the show because he was afraid, he would be shown up by the Florida Reich’s Fuhrer. The Emperor can’t be second in anything. The Emperor’s new clothes are beautiful! And the anticipated crowd size was huge, but in the name of safety.
Ronnie’s anti migrant bill requires employers and hospitals to gather immigration status information. And as I mentioned before, the bill is encouraging migrant workers to avoid Florida entirely. Now Hispanic truckers are attempting to organize a boycott of Florida. So, that even if they do manage to get the strawberries picked, they might not be able to get them to market.
CNN has been roundly criticized from all corners for their Trump (Bud Light) Town Hall. From all corners except from the Republicans. They dare not say anything except, “That was real good the way you did that Mr. Trump. You really showed them what for sir.” But a solid majority of Americans were repulsed by the Kukla, Fran & Trumpy show. Which only goes to illustrate Trump’s un-electability.
And the Republicans know it but dare not say it. Trump is using the party as human shields. They dare not say anything. Except for Mitt Romney, they remain Sphinx silent. But the Republican lies, and extremism illustrate their weakened condition.
Their appeals to the Christian Nationalist and the new Ku Klux Klan trying to milk support from a dying cow. After claiming abortion should be left to the states, they now double down on anti-abortion measures nationally. Even five years ago, exceptions for rape and incest were standard but no more. The Republicans offer nothing for the raped and abused women. Can’t get any headlines that way. Too bad, it sucks to be you; I guess.
The politics of alienation, anti-women, anti-gay, anti-minority, anti -Semitic and anti-Disney. Anti-books, anti-education, anti-science, and anti-vaccines. Polls show Republicans are more toxic than cobra venom with suburban voters. With millennials and Gen X, it’s already pointless even to try. They have painted themselves into a corner with most voters.
Their constant drum beat of somebody done us wrong has become monotonous. The Republicans offer nothing for the future but repression and culture wars. Where there is no leadership, the people are lost. It’s great to make headlines. But eventually you must produce something. Something offering a better day and a better future. Something besides, “And if elected, I’ll take books out of the library and shut down the hospitals.”
Did Trump cancel his rally out of a fear of being bested or bad weather? Who knows? Would Trump do so? Probably. Trump offers only madness, anger, and rage with no vision of a better place for us to live. No vision for our children. No vision for our jobs or families. The public’s revulsion to Trump’s TV appearance makes it clear. Trump has no vision for America only anger and rage. Leaving the forecast as “cloudy with a 99% chance of failure.
