It is too cliché’ to say in war; truth is the first casualty. But the bullshit is already running pretty thick. You can’t honestly call the Gazans innocent victims. Hamas is not an interloper, a sect, or an underground splinter group in Gaza. Hamas is the elected government of Gaza. Elected just like the mayor of Miami or the governor of Florida. Elected and freely chosen by the people of Gaza themselves. The government is responsive to those people, and the people are responsible for the government they create.

The people of Gaza chose a violent government whose sole stated purpose was to destroy Israel. Did they hide this point from the masses, and only the upper management knew? This elected government then created an unprovoked military attack and committed a war crime against their neighbors. Killing everyone from infants to geriatrics en masse, for the sole purpose of shocking the world.

To take hostages harvesting human beings in hopes of getting their associates freed from jail to commit even more terror. Using the hostages as bait and using the citizens of Gaza as human shields and hiding behind those same wounded women and children you see on TV.

Using your kindness and soft warm Western heart against you as Hamas becomes the masters of cruelty. Hamas doesn’t care if Gaza is reduced to rubble and the corpses are stacked up to the moon if they can advance their cause. The humanitarian crisis is created by Hamas. Release the hostages and the lights come back on. What’s so hard about that? What Hamas is saying is if you don’t let us have what we want, we will sacrifice Gaza to your destruction.

 Hamas abducts around 150 innocent civilians at gunpoint and holds them incommunicado in fear for their lives and wants to talk about a humanitarian crisis?

This legitimate elected government of Gaza started an unprovoked terrorist war. No differently than Japan bombed Pearl Harbor in World War Two. This was a massacre and a slaughter provoking a War as in, no holds barred this is gonna hurt down and dirty you ain’t gonna like this war.

Spare me the tears as the reward for successful terrorism is more terrorism. Out of fear and out of horror and gore and respect for the dead the Israelis don’t show their casualties on TV. In Gaza, they exploit them. “How could this happen to me? I’m just a poor innocent victim.” And they call their dead Martyrs! Martyrs for the cause, not victims, but dead soldiers in a declared war against Israel.

Hamas did this horror show to the world. Hamas created it and nurtured it in Gaza, just as the Gazan people nurtured and supported Hamas. They have wounded our collective consciousness and overplayed their hand. Sometimes like Gettysburg, a battle presents itself, ready or not. Hamas hoped to use Gaza as their fortress hiding behind the corpses and now finding themselves cornered by the weight of the world.

Peace! Peace! Time to negotiate, let’s be honest with ourselves here. If we begin negotiations today to get the hostages back dead or alive in dribs and drabs over the years, they win. If their regime is destroyed and their leadership is killed, they don’t win, we do.  The next group of hostage takers maybe thinks twice if the retribution is horrible enough. The Gazan people brought this misfortune down on themselves. This is a War, a war, a real war.

Japan bombed Hawaii just once, and a war was commenced. A war.

The Palestinians have never been free and never had their own homeland. They were subjects of the British Crown. Living and abiding under British rule and spending British money. When they had a legal dispute, they took it to a British court.

The British had the right to do whatever they wanted to do with the property. No differently than when Napoleon sold the Louisiana Purchase to Thomas Jefferson. Land was allocated in Jordan in much the same way India and Pakistan were later divided. But the Palestinians refused the deal.

Claiming these are their ancestral homelands, while being tenants living on someone else’s land. Accepting British authority when it suited them and denying it when it didn’t.

It’s all a part of the same thing Hamas and Hezbollah trace their roots back to Iran and Russia. The timing is no accident. Russia is trouble and needs to create a distraction. Donald Trump is in trouble and also needs to create a distraction. Eric Trump said, “We get a lot of our money from Russia!”

 So, Trump tries this time to overthrow the Republican Party and install himself through a meat puppet as Speaker of the House. A surrender on any battlefield is a disadvantage to the next.

This is a war and sometimes war is ugly and brutal, but if you don’t stick it out to the end you only invite another war. And if Israel and her allies play the negotiation game there will be another war in five to ten years and every ten years which follow. Still fighting for the lost cause of the old Confederacy that never was.

It’s their cause de jure raising their boys up from cradle to young grave to become a martyr for Allah and the lost cause.

Hamas challenges Israel to start their ground offense. Watch closely, Israel is condemned for telling Gaza residents they better move south in the next 24 hrs. Hamas tells the same people to stay where you are and are not condemned. Hamas says they want to fight and are anxious and Hamas want the civilians to stay right where they are. Israel is under no obligation to tell anyone anything, this a war. And when they do, they’re condemned for it as the UN says that could create a humanitarian crisis!

But Israel didn’t create this crisis, Israel is responding to a military attack from Hamas/Gaza. Who was it who put the innocent civilians in harm’s way?

Hamas has called for a world-wide day of flag waving, chest thumping and big mouthing rage, threatening the world. Threatening terrorism and worldwide civil disobedience. Israel calls for the innocent civilians to get out of the way.

Hamas has committed an act of war. And has been presented with the war they themselves spawned. It has been made clear to all parties that the US didn’t send a carrier battle group just to wave. As the Britts sent surveillance ships aka, intelligence and targeting ships. The west has already committed themselves and are trying to prevent the war from escalating. Or to escalate things in a sudden and serious way.

This is a real war. The culmination of a long twilight war.
