It is sometimes hard to pay attention to it all and follow along with everything. That in the epic corruption of Donald Trump’s universe that his corruption still knows no limits or bounds. It’s just like the universe, it’s unfathomable to the human mind! The $500 million fine Trump was ordered to pay for fraud was ruled excessive by the appeals court. Okay, let’s accept for a moment that the fine was excessive. What then is a more realistic fine? And the court answered, “How about zero? Zero dollars and zero cents fine.” $500 million was too excessive, but zero seems just right to us for a company convicted of fraud.
If you cross him, he will get you! The judge who imposed that civil fine is toast. They might want to sell their assets and leave the country quick. Before they’re found with a kilo of cocaine in the trunk of their car, tax evasion or child porn. You know he’s coming for you. And you know, he forgives no injuries or slights. Look at the poor case of Ambassador John Bolton. Back in the sunshine days, the media always referred to him as “Ambassador” Johnny Bolton. He was our Ambassador to the UN like Alanna Habba is a federal prosecutor in New Jersey. Appointed, but not approved. Ambassador, for a couple of months.
But for all of his foibles, extremities and general weirdness, Bolton was as constant and dependable as the morning star. If you wanted to know the ambient temperature of Reich wing weirdness in America…ask our ambassador. Johnny was crazy, but he always had integrity. His views were extreme and often bat shit crazy, but he was honest about it. During his days in the shade, they’ve taken his title away. He’s just plain old John Bolton now.
“Ambassador” Bolton made the mistake our mothers had always warned us about. He fell in with the wrong crowd. Johnny was a good egg, then he went to work for the Trump administration. He suddenly found himself immersed in a world where corruption knew no bounds. He was a Republican politician and a crazy ideolog. But all these people around him were just slimy criminals and incompetents. How is a politician supposed to traverse such a landscape? So, Bolton reported it to the boss. And the Boss answered, “Don’t you worry your little head about it Johnny, cause big daddy’s got it all taken care of.”
In a shocker of a surprise ending. The king and the Ambassador had a testy parting of the ways. “Jetson You’re Fired!” You can’t fire me! I Quit! “You can’t quit, because I’ve already fired you!” You can’t fire me! I’ve already submitted my resignation! “But I haven’t accepted it yet! So, you’re fired.” Love on the rocks! A good soldier gone bad. Bolton wrote a book about his times inside the crazy house. Everyone wrote a book. They were cutting down old-growth forests to print all the poop and pap on the pulp from the first Trump Administration.
But the ambassador discovered the king’s long memory. After having his book checked and approved by the CIA. The book was blocked from publication. Bolton sued in a big cat fight. There’s bad blood for sure. Yesterday, the FBI raided and searched John Bolton’s house looking for national security documents. What national security documents could Bolton have from years ago? Of course, in that type of forum (Police Raid) any old paystub or an employee handbook from 2008 could be considered a national security document.
What is Bolton up to where they feel it’s necessary to raid the Ambassador’s home? Did they just want to see what Johnny has been up to and who he’s talking with? Does the Administration fear spooks and specters? Are they worried about certain people’s loyalty? Why else raid little Johnny’s house?
Forgetting that Trump has gone after every prosecutor, judge and lawyer ever involved in any attempt to prosecute him. What’s up with John Bolton? His house raided and sacked by the FBI. Bolton walks in his front door almost like he knew they were coming. What could the FBI be looking for? What document could Bolton have to so unnerve the king? Clearly, the king is unprosecutable in this country. So, why worry about little Johnny?
In stage three Fascism. The paranoia begins to overtake them. After all the obvious opponents are cowed or conquered. There comes the unseen threat. The unheard whisper. Voices mumbling together in a hallway who stop talking when you draw near. Plots and ghosts and surrounded by unseen enemies! Everyone smiles, but not everyone means it.
For an administration with no bottom, it was a new low. Unless, of course, Bolton is/was up to something. The real world is broken, and we must accept this broken one as a poor substitute. In a broken world’s anything is possible. The king could choke on a pretzel or fall off his ten speed. The king has enemies, and they live rent free upstairs inside the king’s mind.
The United Arab Emirates wanted to buy these AI chips. Who knows why? Probably to resell to China. But on the grounds of national security, the sale was blocked. The UAE buys $2 billion of Trump’s wooden nickel bitcoin and the chip sale was approved. That level of corruption is incomprehensible and as obvious as brown shoes with black pants.
What could Bolton have squirreled away worse than that? What’s Mr. Bolton been doing with himself these days, now that he’s not “Ambassador” Bolton anymore? Who might Johnny be talking to that has them all acting so weird? If you bump heads with the king. You know that he’s coming after you. But raiding Bolton’s house, that says something else. That says they’re afraid of him for some reason.
In the old Soviet Union possession of a radio tube was a five-year prison sentence. If you had a radio tube. Other conspirators also had radio tubes. It meant a conspiracy! You planned to get together with the others and listen to the radio illegally. Perhaps Ambassador Bolton was suspected of having a radio tube. Maybe he’s talking to people they don’t know about? About things they need to know about.
Stage Three Fascism, they are beginning to suspect their own. The Gestapo will now search your house just because we feel like it! Who are you talking to and why? Come on, speak up! Confess!
