It’s Just Too Much

By David Glenn Cox

Well, here we all are! We’ve escaped another Trump flea circus. I took the day off yesterday. It’s just too much. No ending civilization tonight! A miracle out of scripture, Taco time! He turned chicken and I’m so glad that he did. He really had me worried when he started talking like an avenging angel announcing the great purification. Like Jim Jones minus the sunglasses plus the dementia.

I guess what really stuns me the most is the way the media just accepts the things Trump says without them answering. “You know that’s crazy as fuck to say, right?” The president is to announce new war crimes! If you thought he was crazy before? It’s obvious Trump was playing the rootenest, tootenist, toughest tin-horned cowboy on the block. President Eastwood in “Make my day, Persian punk!” Taco is as taco does. The fear of playing chicken with an idiot prone to making mistakes. Just the idea of Trump in the scrum with the nuclear football is terrifying .

This is an administration that knows failure well. Fucking up is extremely possible. It’s amateur hour on both sides. The 10- point Iranian ceasefire memo accepted by the US sounds a lot like surrender terms. The US got the Strait of Hormuz open, and Iran got everything else. Officially, it’s only temporary. Officially. Lifting sanctions and no mention of you know what ium. I didn’t see reparations mentioned by the media. I can see how this could be conveniently overlooked. Maybe they’ll discuss that behind closed doors? Donald Trump bombed the shit out of Iran, and now we’re going to have to pay to rebuild it.

They’ve got Trump by the shorthairs. Why wouldn’t they ask for reparations? What has Trump learned from this fiasco? The limits of a superpower? We can whoop anybody! Step across this line. The ailing president’s coarse comments received a rebuke from the Pope. When the Pope of Rome has to stop his busy day to call Trump to account, that’s too much. The Pope of Rome stopping by to ask, “What the fuck is wrong with that boy?”

As they say; the neighbors are starting to notice. I don’t know how much longer we can keep him at home? The secret is getting out. Mr. Trump is less and less cognitive. He has trouble staying on the subject. His bearing is different. His crazy talk is real crazy talk. His reference to destroying societies sounds like its something from “Doctor Strangelove.”

Then, there is the issue of you’re fired! And you’re fired! And you’re fired! I’m not saying the individuals in question didn’t deserve to be fired. I’m saying the replacements will probably be worse. Trump wants to replace everyone sketchy before the midterms. After the midterms, Mr. Trump won’t be able to appoint Mr. Clean, as a restroom monitor. Mr. Trump is already planning his impeachment fight! And Pam Bondi was found wanting. So he fired her, and who comes up next? Trump’s former personal attorney, convenient, huh?

The administration is on the rocks. Any further goals they had are gone. The administration is officially on defense. It will be difficult for Marco Polio to fill his big shoes or be taken seriously by anyone in the diplomatic corps. Marco works for a crazy man who isn’t rational. What do you want to negotiate with him for? Mr. Trump was congratulating the Artemis II astronauts and regaling them with Apollo trivia when it happened. The president burned out a tube and went silent. One astronaut even did a com check and Mr. Trump was still there, just out of service. He’d just blown a tube or popped a circuit breaker (Tilt!) and Houston needed to reboot him. Yep, the president take walks into non-reality. Zones out. Maybe he’s listening, and then again, maybe not.  “Hello, is there anybody in there?”

It is important at this point they keep the president under wraps as much as possible. Don’t let him answer questions from the press. Communicate only on Twuth Social only. Don’t let Trump out in open public settings, where his disability becomes noticeable. It’s getting harder and harder to hide. Former Republican stalwarts including Marge Tater Greene are starting to call him out as done.

A military failure the size of Vietnam, and Trump will now pretend that he won. Or he might actually believe that he did win. We won’t actually know. We are left in the dark to guess. Does he have all his checkers today? Is he going to level 500% tariffs today? Is he going to destroy the world today? It’s just too much. Day in and day out, this is too much.

I lived through the cold war and duck and cover drills under my school desk. These were special desks impervious to nuclear explosions and fallout. That’s what they told us, anyway. But in all of that time, I never seriously considered that a leader on either side would be so incompetent and crazy as to start a world war. I’m not a doctor and I don’t play one on TV. But some things can be diagnosed without a medical degree. This Trump man is not well.

He should be removed to serve his third term in a sanitarium. But the crowd of ambitious cronies and sycophants fear losing their power to shady JD. They don’t like the idea of President JD. He’ll hire his own cronies and sycophants and fire them! They’ll walk Trump from meeting to meeting, explaining what it’s about and what Mr. Trump should think, say and do. Unless he gets loose. Who is actually the president? It’s just too much!

How long can we avoid it? How long before they really do screw something up that they can’t fix?

I zoned out last night though not during the day with the intention to find out what happened in Iran today. Sadly I woke up worried about it all.

The sanitorium would be a good place to recreate a fake oval office so the DJT could continue his rule but without consequences for the rest of us.

Hi, Glynn. Maybe this is something you need to know about. I can read your post, but, if I click on it to get the full screen, I get a message that it is an unsafe site. It is being blocked by my provider, Spectrum. Their statement is “…unsafe content that can harm your device or compromise your personal info.” This has been the case for about a week. I have been an avid reader for years. The results is that it is now impossible to share your post. I have no idea why this is happening. Dealing with Spectrum is like dealing with a certain Bloated Yam! Is it something that has changed on your end? I had Spectrum for about two months before THEY decided I needed to be protected from you. LOL!! When I click on to your email post I can read it, but anything I do after that I get the “unsafe site” message. I have always shared your post to help spread the word. Thanks. ________________________________
