It was Joseph Stalin who once asked, “How many troops does the Pope have?” It was a Polish Pope who once gave the communists in Poland a run for their money. Trump’s words and behavior are about as close to Trump honesty as you’re going to get. James Cagney, as the big-time gangster, doesn’t understand what the priest Pat O’Brien is going on about. All the gangster knows is crime, with no conception of moral authority.

 It’s just plain reckless starting fights with religious leaders. Trump sowing chaos to create a distraction from the distraction of the distraction of the distraction. “I’m not fighting with the Pope.” Yes, you are. Trump has fallen into the trap and stepped into a fresh turd. The Church has its own worldwide communication network of long standing. The Pope won’t be silenced so easily by Fox News.

But this is a Chicago Pope. Oh, yeah? This isn’t some frail little Italian man. This is an American Pope with an American attitude. It Trump wants a war of words with this Pope, Mr. Trump will quickly find himself out-educated and unprepared.

Zing! “I know the gospel. I’m all about the gospel!” says Trump. Remember this was the guy they asked for his favorite Bible verse and he was stumped. “Woe to those who manipulate religion.” When a Pope uses words like “Woe” and he’s not on horseback. It sounds like someone’s about to go to hell. Technically, when the Pope says, “go to hell,” he can actually make it happen. The Pope just called Donald Trump darkness and filth. You can see which way this is going. Hit’ em again, Leo!

Trump takes credit for the ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel. But the arsonist can’t take credit for putting out the fire they started. Interestingly, including Lebanon and Hezbollah in the ceasefire was an Iranian demand. So, Mr. Trump is taking credit for doing what Iran wanted done all along. Thanks to the blindness and castration of the American media, Trump can claim accolades as he loses and submits to Iran. Trump surrenders and takes a victory lap.

Shady JD is in a tight spot after claiming to follow Catholic teachings. He’s even invited his invisible wife to attend. JD proceeds to lecture his spiritual leader about politics. Watch your mouth Leo! Apparently, JD was very loosely educated about the rules of Catholicism. Pope = head guy. Numero Uno! And infallible in all matters of spirituality. You don’t bad-mouth the guy in the Ray bans. Suddenly, JD isn’t the Vice-President anymore, but just more of that darkness and filth. The Pope is doing what Popes have historically done throughout the centuries. Bedeviling overly aggressive and overreaching kings.

They said Mr. Trump threw a tantrum when the federal judge again slapped down Mr. Trump’s big, beautiful white trash ballroom, but the judge said they could continue the underground work only. I prophesy there will never be a ballroom built at the White House and Mr. Trump’s legacy will be a perpetual, muddy hole in the ground. A muddy reflective puddle. The Donald J. Trump memorial reflecting puddle.

There will be no ballroom without Congressional approval, and Mr. won’t ask, because he knows Congress will say no. And you already know how much Mr. Trump hates to be told “no.” This is Mr. Trump’s heart project. He really wants this. To remake the White House in his own image with golden chandeliers and a black wait staff. A veritable monument to Trump oligarchism and white supremacy. Brought to by the very people who own you! Your friends in the billionaire class, who will pay out pennies of their profit on a Super Walmart-sized ballroom to appease Dippy the king.

What was that Pope saying again, about the world being raved by a handful of tyrants? Something about “resources needed for healing, education and restoration are nowhere to be found.” Yeah, if the shoe fits. It’s tantrum time, roar! But I want it! I want it! “I like Leo’s Brother better. He’s Maga!” But Louis is not the Pope, so whether Trump likes Louis or not, is immaterial. Louis isn’t now, nor will he ever be the Pope. Louis is just the Pope’s crazy brother.

 Trump plays with fire as the Pope, like the Supreme Court is installed for life. Trump can’t have Leo removed or silenced. He can’t buy the Vatican and merge it with Netflix. He can’t go over Pope Leo’s head to his boss. A principled stand against tyranny and Capitalist warlord’s oppression of a mad king’s rantings. If the Pope wants to play hardball, he could enjoin Shady JD from the church. Placing him in a theoretical theological timeout and leaving JD to explain to the simple simians why the church has opposed and expelled him.

The Pope could close every Catholic church in the country and deny communion to everyone if he wanted. No marriages or funerals. Not that he would do that, but he could! It would disrupt the cash flow, but he could. He could declare Donald Trump a heretic and an apostate, and an enemy of the church. Can you imagine an American president labeled an enemy of the church? What would the other denominations do, If the Pope labeled Trump a heretic? They would all be a in tough spot; trying to explain their theological reasonings for or against a Pope’s decree of heresy.

Mr. Trump is showing you what he really thinks of the Christian religion. It bothers him and he’s contemptuous of it. The Godfather only sees the money to be made.
