Look, What Joe Biden Did!

By David Glenn Cox

Donald Trump has become transparent, or we have become wise to his Wile E. Coyote ways. The President says he looked at the Iranian peace proposal and dismissed it as not good enough. Now, Trump translated and stabilized that means the Iranians looked at our peace plan and dismissed it as “not good enough.” Trump’s strategy seems to be to wait and see what happens next. Suppose they started a war and then just walked away when it didn’t turn out as they planned?

No negotiations, no settlements, or restitution. Just declare the war over, “Had enough, fella?” Declare victory and walk away. Sure, that’ll work good! No nuclear enrichment settlement and no missile program settlement. No satisfaction of any of the alleged war goals except for regime change. And when regime change was done with a bomber or missile, it isn’t really a finesse job. It’s the lowest form of regime change, regime change without any stealth or style points.

Just fly over at three in the morning and drop a bomb on your house, what’s that? Why arrest the president of Venezuela and murder the Ayatollah? Who makes that call? What will become of Mr. Maduro as he languishes, illegally arrested and detained in an American prison cell? Like the princes of old, detained for ransom or locked away in a castle tower forever. “Where did you put all the money, Nick?” Maduro is as alone as a man on the moon. Let the interrogations begin!

Under my theory, what does Maduro have to talk about with the US government? Military secrets? Secret weapons? High technology or access to billions and billions of those beautiful tax-free dollars Maduro is reported to have. Excuse the pun; as the Maduro’s face Trumped-up charges of drug trafficking. Maybe they’re guilty, who knows? The court does. Trust me, they already have the verdict. The charges appear suddenly and conveniently. Are they checking for any irregularities in Maduro’s mortgage application?

Under international law, you can’t just kidnap and jail a head of state. Do you think the issue will come up in an American court? Will the Maduros be released at once when their attorney brings this fact to the court’s attention? Imagine if men in black helicopters kidnapped King Charles or the Pope and arbitrarily declared them to be criminals without a trial.

Maybe, if Mr. Maduro had some of that nice money of his, converted into Donald Trump crypto coins, that might help some. It certainly couldn’t hurt. Why, maybe, the court could even find that the administration had no jurisdiction after all and release the Maduros from prison to exile in the south of France.

Gas prices continue to soar to new historic highs. Oil companies are making more money selling less oil. What a deal! As they say in Las Vegas, “let it roll!” Roll the dice and see what happens next. Stop the war? That would be ah, highly unprofitable.

“Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.” ― Benito Mussolini

It’s funny peculiar to me how gas prices reached $5.00 per gallon under Joe Biden. The media was near apoplectic and predicting the fall of Rome and the end of the western world. Now, with Trump pushing gas prices to $6.50 per gallon have almost nothing to say. I watched a news blurb the other day as they gave the fuel prices around each region of the country, without any editorization. No mention of why or the unnecessary nature of the conflict driving the higher prices. Just listed, matter of factly. (Shit Happens) When gas prices spiked under Joe Biden they were losing their minds over it, over at Fox News.

Like Hunter Biden’s famous laptop, when they don’t need it anymore, the state media just drops the story. Boy, if gas prices ever reached $6.50 a gallon under Joe Biden, there would be hell to pay! The Republican noise machine would be screaming for impeachment and calling for congressional hearings. Once congressional Republicans found out Joe Biden had bombed Iran (and didn’t tell them first) and Iran retaliated by closing the strait of Hormuz. Their outrage would be unconfined. “Look what Joe Biden did, everyone! The experts told him not to attack Iran, but he did it anyway! Now look at the mess we’re in, and it’s all Joe Biden’s fault!

Every media outlet would be calling it “Joe Biden’s” ill-conceived War on Iran. “Joe Biden’s” high gas prices. Joe Biden’s recession. Look what Joe Biden did now! But it’s Donald Trump’s ill-conceived War and Donald Trump’s astronomical, disastrous gas prices, and the media have said little about it. The media only mentions it without editorial. No, in-depth Fox News Specials. “Joe Biden’s War! The Ugly Truth!” No mention of how Trump’s War was only going to takes a couple of days to complete. Okay, maybe a week or two or maybe even a month, but no longer. Can they have $200 billion? They’ve run into some unexpected expenses.

Now, Mr. Trump is up against the War Powers Act. So, Mr. Trump declares the war over. Simple enough! The Iranians don’t get a vote and must have been surprised by the news. Peace is declared! We can all go home now! Mr. Trump is unable to force Iran to surrender. So surrenders for them. Peace is declared! Why didn’t Joe Biden think of that? The Strait of Hormuz is still closed. Why? Haven’t the Iranians heard? The war is over! Donald Trump says, peace has been declared!

A complete and total foreign policy disaster. The greatest foreign policy failure since the Bay of Pigs. Mr. Trump and his team of turnip brains have badly miscalculated. The media leave out the unnecessary commentary on the nature of this war and report only what is expected as normal. But, boy, oh, boy, if this were Joe’s Biden’s War there would be real trouble.

If that no-good Joe Biden had attacked Iran in the middle of peace negotiations Pearl Harbor style, Fox News would be wetting themselves with vitriol and rage. In the middle of negotiations! Joe Biden attacked Iran in the middle of peace negotiations!

“The liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerated the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than the democratic state itself. That in its essence is fascism: ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or any controlling private power.” ― Franklin D. Roosevelt
