Mr. Trump visited the Untidy Nations Tuesday, and who was the first face he saw coming through the door? It was Catlin Collins of CNN. Mr. Trump announced so that all could hear. “You’re not supposed to be here!” Living inside a house of glass, Mr. Trump confuses his White House press ban with a protective order from the court, valid throughout the entire planet. It was one of those off the script remarks that says so much. illustrating that cluelessness has a face. Did he really think his press deportees could never come near him ever again? I, the Great and Powerful Oz, have commanded it!
I couldn’t help but notice with Mr. Trump standing in a crowd. Either the world leaders are all getting taller, or Mr. Trump is getting smaller, the way that the elderly do sometimes. But step one: find the Iranian delegation and try to negotiate his way out of his war of idiocy. Mr. Trump also met with Ukrainian President Zelensky. They smiled at each other and shook hands as President Zelensky mumbled under his breath, “Yeah, fuck you too!”
The United Snakes had left Ukraine high and dry and pleaded with them to make peace on Vladimir Putin’s terms. For NATO and our former European allies, it was, “Bye, bye Miss American Pie.” You can only trust Mr.Trump just about as far as you can smell him. His duplicitous pay for play nature entitles him to the crown, “The King of Nothing!” King Trump suddenly finds himself all alone and friendless in the untidy world.
It was important to Mr. Trump to find and make medicine with the Iranians before Chinese Premier Xi got a hold of him. Iran doesn’t have many friends, but China is one of them. Blockades of Iranian oil affect China almost as much as they affect Iran. China is one of the most pragmatic nations on Earth. They play chess, not checkers. They won’t come right out publicly and tell Mr. Trump to “Knock it off or else.” Do you think providing satellite data to the Iranians was an accident or a warning shot across the bow?
Under the same doctrine that allowed Europe to supply weapons to Ukraine. In order to fight off the unprovoked and unjust attack by Russia, would also allow China to supply weapons to Iran, to fight off the unprovoked and unjust attack by the Untied Snakes. It appears Odysseus has run the ship of state aground listening for the sirens of world domination. It all seems so obvious in retrospect; it always does.
Pete Hegseth fired off all of our high-tech weapons until the larder was nearly empty. And now, potentially, Iran could find a new source of weapons. We could always call on our friends and allies to help us out of this jam. But uh oh, we no longer have any friends or allies. The chances that Boeing will still be in business in ten years are slim to none. The world will walk the long way around the block to avoid buying American products. Even if they wanted to buy, Mr. Trump’s tariffs make them uncompetitive. Mr. Trump is going to teach the world a lesson, even if it takes every last farmer and rancher in the United States.
“Gas prices aren’t too high! Quit your bitching and complaining!” I, the Great and Powerful Oz, command it! “Your not supposed to be here, Caitlan!” Deep inside the heads of the insane, the whole world is believed to be their personal domain. Mr. Trump was at the Untidy Nations and they had just decreed that Africa should appear larger on Mercator projections from now on. Surely, through statute or proclamation, they could order CNN to leave Mr. Trump alone.
Fox News, fresh off its toycott, reports the news in pure Orwellian projection. The Nazis called their official publication “Volkischer Beobachter” (The People’s Observer) Fox News offers the same inverted projection, calling yesterday “Takedown Tuesday” for Mr. Trump. According to Fox Snooze, Mr. Trump pushed his way past CNN like a football star on a touchdown run. He kicked President Zelensky in the nuts and grabbed the Iranians by their hair. I am Trump! The all-powerful: Hear me roar!
Obviously, Mr. Trump needs all the good news he can muster right now, real or imagined, and Fox is there to supply it. It was Rupert the reprobate’s way of saying “sorry” about the toycott. “I’ve still got your back!” Mr. Trump celebrates his victory over an unarmed nation the same way an insane adult celebrates the beating of a small child. He should be ashamed of himself, but he’s not. Fox News inverts the headlines 180 degrees. Trump wins again!
But as Mr. Trump entered the Untidy Nation’s building yesterday. He entered as just one more troubled nation amidst a troubled world, largely of his own making. He no longer enters as the President of the United States and leader of the free world. He’s become much smaller now. Like the King and I, “Siam is the largest and most powerful nation on earth Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera!” The Great and Powerful Oz commands it! Take these offending press peons from before my eyes!
From the big man who walks softly but carries a big stick, to a petty little man with a big mouth. The leader of a gangster state is seeking respect out of fear rather than admiration. He’s the tiny little man behind the curtain with the microphone. Pulling the levers and turning the knobs furiously trying to impress you with his awesome powers. Such is the problem in a nutshell. How can Mr. Trump back out of the Iran conundrum and still declare victory on Fox? The short answer is, “He can’t.” Our loss is China’s gain.
Where is that perfect economy with no inflation and two dollars a gallon gasoline that Mr. Trump had promised us? But Oz is only make-believe. America’s largest retailer, Walmart, is quietly cutting thousands of jobs. So is Uber, and so is Microsoft. I wonder why? “See the sky about to rain?” These employers see what is coming on the horizon. You would think that such information as that to be big news. And it is big news, but only after the midterm elections. The meat puppet media will tell you all about it, but only after you’ve cast your vote for that five thousand dollar check. They wouldn’t want you to be unduly influenced by an influx of bad economic news. Shhh, relax, close your eyes and think of nothing.
A great man cannot be so great, if he’s afraid to face the press. Banning the press is the beginning of his abdication. If he can’t stand up to CNN, he’s nothing but a wimp, no matter what Fox News says.
“To us there has come a time, in the midst of swift happenings, to pause for a moment and take stock- to recall what our place in history has been, and to rediscover what we are and what we may be. If we do not, we risk the real peril of isolation, the real peril of inaction.
Lives of Nations are determined not by the count of years, but by the lifetime of the human spirit. The life of a man is threescore years and ten: a little more, a little less. The life of a Nation is the fullness of the measure of its will to live.
There are men who doubt this. There are men who believe that democracy, as a form of government and a frame of life, is limited or measured by a kind of mystical and artificial fate that, for some unexplained reason, tyranny and slavery have become the surging wave of the future—and that freedom is an ebbing tide.
But we Americans know that this is not true.” – Franklin Delano Roosevelt
