I was watching the Trumpizoid rally from Georgia. It’s hard to tell the rallies apart anymore. But they were holding up their cardboard signs with Georgia flags printed on them. So I guess it was Georgia. And whenever I watch his wormistry at work, I always watch the crowd behind him in the peanut gallery. Great seats with close-up views of the back of his balding head. But what I noticed was that their cardboard signs were mostly in their laps. One woman had folded her sign up into quarters and was using it as a fan to cool herself.
Others were making small talk among themselves and whispering to each other while Trump spoke. How far we’ve come from the heady days of the thunderous Trumpo rallies. The novelty has worn off, and the spectators were asking themselves, “What the fuck are we doing here? Don’t forget, we need to stop at the Kroger on the way home and pick up some milk. The enthusiasm was missing. It’s the President of the United States speaking. For Christ’s sake, pay attention. This was more like a high school assembly with Principal Poop speaking. Their lack of enthusiasm was striking.
Trumpo was reciting some of his favorite anticdotes about watching men’s asses and how the high cost of fuel really wasn’t all that bad. It was way worse under Obama and Biden. (What wasn’t?) The good news was that oil companies were raking in billions of dollars! Ain’t that great? And because of the high price of fuel, oil companies were going to invest in new oil fields in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Just think of it! In just five to seven years, your high fuel problems will be all over and the oil companies will be richer than ever. (Yippee!) Or Mr. Trump could end the Iran war, and fuel prices would drop immediately. Yeah but? I don’t know what part of his corroded rectum he pulled that chestnut from, but that is some delusional thinking.
Oil companies aren’t opening news fields or building new refineries for short-term Trump-inspired calamities. But it is as I’ve warned. They’re pushing him too hard, and they’re going to break him, if they aren’t careful. The other day, he confused the Nobel Peace Prize with the Pulitzer Prize. (Simple mistake, it could happen to anyone!) Last night, he called the strait of Hormuz “The Hormone strait.” He wasn’t joking, though if ever called out on it, they will say he was. He’s opening the Strait of Hormone! And the crowd goes wild…not!
Do you remember last week? I know, that sounds like a silly question, but so much goes on these days, so quickly that it’s sometimes it’s hard keeping up. It’s like if you blink, you’ll miss something. But this was when President Zelensky had reported that Starlink had been switched off. The White House immediately claimed that Elon did it. Then, Elon claimed that the White House did it. Then, the White House claimed again that Elon did it. Ukrainian civilians, including children, were killed and injured by this act. Then, Starlink was turned back on alibi, at a slower speed. Leaving the Ukrainians helpless against Russian missiles and drones.
Then finally, Elon admitted that he had done it because Ukraine had violated HIS Terms of Service. Elon claimed the Ukrainians were using Starlink for offensive operations. (In a war? Going on for over four years? Really? You’re kidding!) You know, when this country finally comes around to its senses and starts throwing billionaires into volcanoes. I know who has my recommendation. The old adage says: money can’t buy class and also can’t buy more articulate lying skills either. Elon said that they couldn’t use Starlink to kill people. But by suddenly switching Starlink off unannounced. Elon had surely used Starlink to help Russia kill people, innocent civilian people.
I’ve got no argument against billionaires with fancy cars and private jets or huge mansions in exotic places. But billionaires who use their money and power arbitrarily to kill and to injure people belong inside that volcano. Elon says that he wants to die on Mars. And strangely enough, I want that too! How soon can you be ready to go? I’ll pack you a lunch. “Can you hear me, Major Tom?” Elon Musk is by his own definition is a murderer and a war criminal. And only the possible danger is a bio hazard to an innocent volcano. I’m almost certain that the EPA would object. Maybe, we could even televise it? What do you say, Pete?
It’s like the Dearborn Massacre in 1932. 3,000 hunger marchers marched to the gates of Ford’s shuttered River Rouge factory to protest their hungry plight when Henry Ford had his goons turn fire hoses on the marchers in subfreezing temperatures. You know, it’s not like they were human or anything. Monty Burns really isn’t an exaggeration. Struggling people in desperate straits and how does the millionaire respond? It wasn’t like they were storming the gates with a rope and looking for a Michigan volcano. They were hungry, unemployed and desperate.
In response to being hosed down, the marchers began throwing pieces of ice at Ford Security officers. Officers who then opened fire on the crowd, killing four with a fifth dying later, with dozens of others injured. Who killed those people? Henry Ford did! They were disturbing him in HIS America! “Get off my lawn, or I’ll shoot!” There’s never a volcano around when you really need one.
They say that money is the root of all evil. No, people are the root of all evil. Money is simply their vehicle to promote their evil. Elon drops three hundred million dollars to help elect Republicans. But just think of the good that money could have done. Funded symphony orchestras or animal shelters or medical schools. But no, he pisses it all away on the likes of Ken Paxton and Gregg (Bubba) Abbott. See? Don’t blame the innocent money for what the awful man does.
But as Mr. Trump scurries from town to town, trying desperately to save himself. Analysts predict that Virginia is lost to the Republicans because of Doge generally, and Elon specifically. Gregg (Bubba) Abbott tells Sean Hannity’s radio audience that if Texas is lost to the Democrats, it will be lost for a generation. Now that is a very interesting perspective. If we can’t bullshit the voters this time. We might never be able to bullshit them again! All is lost! Que the band playing “Nearer thy God to thee!”
It isn’t that there are billionaires. It’s what the billionaires do which offends me. If a billionaire funds some road whore’s escape from an abusive Presidential relationship with a fake film, paying her millions of dollars, that’s volcano worthy. If a big tobacco lobbyist gives half a million dollars to Trumpo’s war chest. And then three days later, the administration changes its rules for flavored vapes, that’s volcano worthy! [The line starts here!] But the little kiddies just love the flavored vapes! Gotta start them out young!
But it is well known about Mr. Trumpo’s excellent business skills. So far this year, Mr. Trumpo’s “Twuth Yokel” social media platform has brought in two million dollars in revenue. Against a net loss of 643 million dollars. No one funds social media to that extent to tell the truth, only to subsidize and commoditize their lies. Ask Elon how much money he’s made from owning shitter Twitter and he’ll tell you all about his flying cars.
“Now, if you have on that table the food and the clothing and the products that it takes for 125 million people to live on, any man with a thimble-full of sense ought to know that if you take 85 percent off of that table and give it to one man that you are bound to have 2/3 the people starving because they haven’t got enough to eat.
How many men ever went to a barbecue and would let one man take off the table what’s intended for 9/10ths of the people to eat. The only way you’ll ever be able to feed the balance of the people is to make that man come back and bring back some of that grub he ain’t got no business with.” – Huey Long
“Taxes should be paid by those who can afford them.” – Franklin Delano Roosevelt
