Maybe it was a False Flag

By David Glenn Cox

You can feel the building pressure. Like the lessons from World War One. Promises alliances and secret protocols. And then, it all fell apart. The war in Ukraine goes badly for both sides. Never in a million years did Vladimir Putin every dream two years ago, Russian oil refineries would be one by one, put out of business. Like two punched out fighters slugging it out and bleeding it out.

Both sides burning through men and equipment to basically accomplish nothing. So, the demise of the Russian oil business is a big deal. As the US Administration says to Ukraine. “Whoa, careful now! That could destabilize world oil prices and affect US elections. But you don’t really believe that, do you? Could it be in these days of modern controlled warfare the administration wasn’t saying. “Whoa, careful now! That’s one toke over the line!”

A trip wire tripped cannot be untripped. Russia is feeling the pinch and a continued campaign could possibly bring down the Russian economy. During WW2, the allied air campaign focused on ball bearings. Every manufactured Axis machine required ball bearings. Most of Germany’s ball bearing production was in one area which was bombed extensively for a week. After the war, Albert Speer said if the Allies had kept it up, Germany’s war machine would have collapsed.

Most of Russia’s oil refineries are in Ukrainian drone range. Oh, those drones, giving one the potential of hitting just that one right soft spot. That one part of the refinery sanctioned out of reach. Take that Luke Skywalker. It’s become clear that Russian air cover is spotty at best. Defend the oil refineries at the expense of the cities? They can’t shit any new anti-aircraft systems. Modern warfare is run what you brung with you, it’s too late to build them now.

Piece by piece, the Russian Black Sea Fleet is being decimated. Ukraine needs open seas to sell her grain to the world. So, the Ukrainians used a Storm Shadow missiles on the Black Sea Fleet communications center. In fact, they used three missiles. If you want to be sure of an effective strike, you only need fire one missile. But if you want to REALLY be sure it was effective; you fire two missiles. So, firing three missiles qualifies as an ultra-high-level target. I don’t know what or who the Ukrainians were trying to hit. But with three missiles on one building, I bet they hit it.

Russia is being militarily degraded and she is not about to sit quietly by and allow herself to be strangled. Hence, “Whoa, that’s one toke over the line!”

Western intelligence sources maintain if Putin were successful in Ukraine, he would make designs on other European targets. Or a war with a European empire seeking dictator is on the horizon and probably unavoidable. This makes European countries once victims of WW2 very nervous.

Is France serious? Making statements about sending French troops into Ukraine. Is it a bluster? (Don’t make me turn this car around!) Or would it be a serious escalation? French Troops are the line in the sand. “Step across this line, knock this chip off my shoulder if you dare!” Promises made that Ukraine will not be allowed to lose the war. What do they know that we don’t?

Because what they are saying without saying to us. “This is only going so far, without military intervention.” Coming right out and telling Russia, “You will not be allowed to prosper.” You know what that means, don’t you?

Russia responds with missile attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure. Our first clue, that somebody upstairs isn’t playing with a full deck of cards. Attacking infrastructure, like the Luftwaffe bombing London, does nothing to advance Moscow’s military goals. It might sooth the ego making an angry dictator feel better about himself and providing great propaganda headlines. But those Russian missiles are in short supply and could be considered to have been wasted.

Putin isn’t afraid to make mistakes. The Russian human wave (Meat) assaults also point to an unhinged leadership which demands results regardless of the cost. Failing to learn the lesson from Stalingrad that even lowly infantry troops are not an unlimited resource.

Now, why would Ukraine want to attack a civilian concert venue? Terrorism is a weapon of the powerless. It is an unprovoked sneak attack. Why after repeated warnings of a terrorist attack, were there no police apparently on site? You can’t hold a flower show in this country without the cops being present. Why were two of the terrorists armed with MA-12 Russian military rifles? And a flame thrower? Sure, every terrorist group can pick up a flame thrower. But here’s my question. WHY?

What was the terrorist’s goal? How does this move the Isis cause forward? The terrorists were quickly apprehended by police without any further violence. Does that make sense to you? You’ve just committed a horrible terrorist atrocity then, peacefully taken into custody without incident. They were going to run away to Ukraine! Only most terrorists don’t intend on running away; they plan on shooting it out. Not these boys. “Don’t shoot! We’ll tell you everything!”

Something is wrong with these terrorists.

Maybe it was a false flag or maybe it was what they said it was. It’s too far from here to tell. Vladimir Putin was waiting for his phony reelection before calling for another round of mobilization. The attack helps Putin but not in a major way. He’s a dictator, he doesn’t have to worry about keeping them happy.

But the problem with a general Russian mobilization is keeping people at home running the economy, rather than just grabbing up another wave of men. You can’t draft all the engineers, and you can’t draft all the bus drivers. You can’t draft all the machinists and you can’t draft all the traffic cops. Somebody has to keep the water running and someone has to keep the lights on. The draft hasn’t worked the last two times it has been tried, maybe this time it will be different? Right? Not!

There are an infinite number of roads, but they all lead to the same destination. The question is if intervention has already been decided on. The West should act assertively and not be forced to defend a bad situation forced upon us by say an intentional Russian made nuclear meltdown or similar terrorist event.
